Too many kids?!

Hi everyone! So, I'm Jen and I'm a mama to 3 beautiful children (2 boys and a girl) and pregnant with our 4th. Though I absolutely adore being a mom, I am now terrified that the flow of things in my household will just fall apart due to having a soon to be toddler, 2 young children and a newborn. Are there any other moms out there who have 4 children and had them back to back? Did having an older child/children make it easier on dealing with a toddler and a newborn? Thanks!

    i can't speak from experience bc we are just now expecting our 2nd.  however, i have spoken with a few moms who have at least 4 kids.  they have all told me that after the 2nd, its a breeze.  3, 4 and beyond.  they said you're used to the chaos anyway, so adding another bundle to the mix doesn't change it up too much.  but thats all the advice i can give.  good luck and congrats!! i love big families!!

    That's wonderful! I love big families! I'm expecting our first in March, so no personal experience there but I'm the youngest of 4 and my mom has always told me after my sister, the oldest, things were easier. We are all pretty closely spaced out. I'm sure she was busy though!
    I always loved being the youngest of 4, lucky baby :-)

    My inlaws have 5 boys! I think they're pretty much all 2 years apart - ages 11, 9, 7, 5, and the youngest, 3. It's such a busy family, but, somehow, it never seems overwhelming. Their kids are some of the most easy going, best behaved boys I have ever met. We're just having our first, but it's because of them that I could totally see us having 4 or so kids ourselves. Of course, every family dynamic is different, but I do believe that having a big family can be done without you going crazy! 

    Do you know anyone with a big family? I would suggest getting together with them and spending some time with their whole family, just to see how the family works together. And, don't be afraid to ask for help!

    Some of my favorite families are large families (like 7 kids!) My hubby and I would both love a large brood! So many of the moms I know with 4 plus children say that you just add one to the mix and it gets easier to grow each time once you're past three. Your older children will love to help with the baby. Congrats!

    I come from a family of 4 kids and I love it. My older sisters helped my mom take care of me and my brother is my best friend. You'll do great. Your kids will love having lots of siblings.
