    I actually avoid getting naked in front of him now. He's a boob man, so he wants to play and I do NOT want to be fondled. Not getting naked in front of him solves the problem, lol.
    So does SO. I should've learned that by now! But I usually let him for a minute and then scream in pain and tell him to calm down! I try to be fair for his sake, but he doesn't have any kind of grasp on what "gentle" means!
    Mine too. He says he has "no gentle cycle" an needs gentle classes before the baby gets here... God help me

    I wish I could post more at work but it's been so busy lately!

    Whenever I am hungry I want to stuff my face with chocolate.  I bought Little Debbie treats for the first time in a loooong time on Sunday and they box is already gone.

    It's one of the kids birthdays at work today. That means a free cupcake for me! I see them and can smell them.. But have to wait for the kids to wake up from nap before I can actually eat one.

    Damn you Tricare for being such a pain in my ass. I haven't had an appointment since 12 weeks and I pretty much have to jump through hoops just to get one here. PCSing sucks, sometimes.

    Speaking of names.. DH is pretty adamant about spelling Jackson as Jaxon. *sigh* This is one of those things where I don't know if I should speak up or if I should just deal with it. Made up name spellings are one of my biggest pet peeves but I really don't want him to feel bad since he's so excited (this is his first baby).

    UM YES SPEAK UP.
    My dilemma is that he has been very nonchalant about making decisions for the baby except two so far: the nursery and the name. So I feel like if I take this away from him, he might hold some resentment towards me that I'm being controlling and don't care about his opinion. So what do I do? Let him be happy and I deal with it, or insist we spell it the "correct" way and chance him getting upset about it. I'm just picking my battles, I suppose.

    So I applied to a job and then found out I was pregnant two days later.  My husband and I decided if I was somehow offered the job, I would decline it.  I love being a SAHM to my son and want to cherish that time with this son too.  The very next day, they offered me the job.  It was so hard to say no, because it was a dream job in so many ways.  Since then, as we watch our budget closely, I often wonder if I did the right thing.  Today they just called me and said they had another opening and wanted to know if I was interested in it.  UGH why!? I feel so flattered that they called me again, but so much confusion.  I have so much respect for working moms, I think they are incredibly strong.  I don't think I'm strong enough, plus I'd feel bad about the fact that I'd pretty much finish my training just to go on maternity leave.  Why could this not be a year from now when baby is a little older?

    This.  I might also try to compare it to a stripper name -- for some reason I think men really get the whole stripper name thing (as opposed to trendy v. not trendy).  Plant the idea that Jackson is the name of a future president, but that when you see it spelled Jaxson it makes you think of a male stripper.

    at least they have started condensing to days... we had like 20 A/s or more on the board yesterday and at least we didn't get 20 "its a ..." posts.

    I kind of love this idea. On the 11/25 A/S thread, someone has already brought up that idea of one person starting it in the morning and the rest of us adding to it through the day. Makes a lot more sense than 5 million A/S posts on the same day.

    I got so excited about leaving work at the end of my shift and hitting the bed immediately for a nap that I woke myself completely up and cannot fall asleep now. Fail.

    Frozen pizza, Cheetos, and sour patch kids are kind of making me feel better about screwing myself out of a nap.

    I'm going to a city council meeting for the first time tonight to support the use of our local parks' hockey rinks to be used for off-leash dog areas during the hockey off-season.  I would rather sit on the couch though.

    I refuse to open any of the threads that start with "it's a.." 

    They are all the same and they are all equally annoying. 
    I totally want to start one entitled "it's a....", and on the inside put "...NNOYING!!"
    I still open them. It's extra annoying when it's someone who has posted twice. Some people I care enough to hit "like" but at least half of the posts I have no clue who the op is.

    I throw them a bone and click like and comment. I'm in the caboose so I always feel like people are sick of announcements by the time I hit milestones, and I don't see the harm in being excited for someone else's excitement.
