I would love sessions with a gym trainer. My sister is the manager of a gym so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Other than that, maybe some Starbucks gift cards! I'm an addict
DH and I don't really exchange because we'd rather spend the money on the kids. But if I were to ask for something, it would be a personal trainer or a cleaning service.
I'd just like some gift cards to buy a few new things before I have to go back to work from maternity leave. I'd like some for the Loft, DSW, and maybe Victoria's Secret. I've also been thinking about picking up a Snap and Go stroller for myself, but we'll see about that.
I really want a necklace. My little one broke my last one. It was one I never took off, wore for about 3 years. Doesn't have to be expensive. We are trying to sell our house so money is really tight, so anything we do get with be for the lil one and new babe.
DH and I aren't doing gifts for each other, but his family still wants to get us gifts this year even though we will probably miss the family XMAS. It's challenging thinking of things this year.
New boots. My dog broke into our bedroom while we were out last January and chewed the heel off the pair DH got me last year. But he did just buy me a GORGEOUS necklace to welcome Aryanna into the world that matches the earrings he got me a few years ago. He says next is the matching ring
I finished shopping for him today. Got him an electric smoker, a smoker cookbook, and a new Kenneth Cole dress shirt.
DH and I are buying ourselves a trip to our favorite resort. They have a once a year sale starting Tuesday, so fingers crossed we get a good date. They put certain dates on sale and not others, so I won't know until then.
I just got new uggs for my birthday and that was something I really wanted for the winter (in Chicago). I'm eyeing a Tory Burch handbag too so we will see!
I want a new digital camera. I'm eyeing one from Costco (if anyone wants go get it for me lol). Granted that is mostly so I can take pics of LO but still for me nonetheless.
Have you checked amazon? We just purchased our first camera that was recommended from photog friends and it was cheaper on Amazon (I was watching it at Costco too).
I want one of the mom necklaces from Red Envelope. LO is due the 2nd and our first anniversary is the 6th and then Xmas makes for a potentially expensive December that I really don't want or need .
I want DH to convert the gas fireplace in our living room to wood burning. I don't need anything to open on Christmas Day...I just want a real fire.
I love my wood burning fireplace!
I grew up with them in my parents' house and loved them! When we bought our house, we found out the previous owner converted all the wood burning fireplaces to gas. Now we have to go back through and have them changed back. Eventually, I want a big outdoor fireplace too!

Are we the same person here? Lol. I will have to post pics of my Dad's huge fireplace sometime. I love the smell of wood burning
FIL said he is buying me a laptop for a combined birthday and christmas present. I'm reallly excited so I might be a little sad if he changes his mind.. I have almost 200 saved up (that I made even though I SAH) to give to my DF so that he can fix his computer.. pretty proud of myself for that. I just want slippers, a robe, and gift cards for clothes.
Hs grandparents do a family vacation every year and we haven't been able to go the last two years because H needs his vacation time for when I deliver. [last year for ds1, this year for this lo]. This year I heard a Bermuda cruise. So that's what I have my FX for

But, my parents arrive next Sunday, and In the 14yrs I have been in the US, we have only had one Christmas together. I can ask for nothing more than my family (H, Kids, parents and inlaws) to be around one table.... and bonus if my feet are shod in some new leather.
I honestly haven't thought of anything! Nor do I need or want much. This baby is all that's on my mind!
But after reading everyone's posts I could definitely use some new (bigger sized lol) Lululemon, fuzzy socks, a new Rebecca Minkoff and Starbucks gift cards!
We don't exchange gifts for Christmas. I have also asked DH to refrain from buying me gifts for any other special occasion as well. The only gift I want is a trip to visit my friends that are dispersed all over the country. Ideally at least one a year but not sure about 2014 with a brand new baby.

I have a wood burning fireplace with a gas starter...can't you just use real logs in your gas starter fireplace?
Re: Let's talk Christmas
This is my problem... It's hard for me to even think about stuff I need because everything in my head is revolving around my LO.

I am 80.
Oh wine, good idea!
