@lauraT25 I am in WA as well and even though it is "legal" there is no legal way to obtain it so you still run the risk of getting caught doing something illegal. Also the whole job security thing is huge. I don't know if I know of any jobs that have changed their stance on drug testing since it was voted legal.
I'm a SS because I'm nursing, so not right now. But once done, definitely.
I said yes but I am too.
And my answer is more yes occasionally than regularly.

I don't think that will change until it is legal on a federal level. It's still illegal on a federal level and federal law trumps state law.
Hell. Yes. My current job doesn't drug test, though.

I don't like to drink, but I would love to be able to smoke pot. We don't so it now because of our jobs, but I'm just waiting for the day I can put LO to bed and get a little high with DH legally.

You can legally buy it with a prescription... but all the rules keep getting all blurred while they try to figure out the recreational guidelines.
I have never tried it, but I would if it was legal. I want to see how it affects my medical conditions and pain levels. If it worked, I'd have to decide between smoking or keeping my narcotics script unless they change the drug testing guidelines too here.
I remember discussing my situation with mom a few years ago which was a big mistake. She looked at me like I had just told I set up a meth lab in the nursery. Anyone that has been on narcotics long term knows the possible effects it has on the digestive system I fail to see how regulated doses or marijuana could be any worse. Of course she thought I was a horrible person that should have my kids taken away for even mentioning that I would try it if it was legal.
I've had massive hangovers when I smoked and drank but nothing on weed alone. A weed hangover seems weird. Don't people smoke pot to get over their hangovers?
Team pot = no hangovers and I voted SS because I am not waiting until it's legalized. In the words of the immortal Bob Nesta Marley... "Excuse me while I light my spliff..."
No, just because I don't like how fuzzy-headed it makes me feel.
I think that the criminalization of pot (and all drugs, honestly) is dumb and wrong. But also, Jesus help me if it does become legal, because my husband will be all over that shit, and stoned people are annoying as fuck unless you are also stoned.
I agree that heroin, etc. are a whole other kettle of fish. Criminalizing just exacerbates the problem, though. It should be treated as a public health issue, not a criminal one. And at the end of the day, I think grown ups should have the right to decide what they want to put into their bodies.
I've smoked a LOT and never had a pot hangover. Ever.
Me neither. And I don't think anyone is smoking in front of their kids. I'm not sure if that was a passive aggressive comment or not @zeptattoo
It wasn't meant to be passive-aggressive. I have family who smoke cigarettes in front of their kids (although only one smokes inside where they live) and I can see if pot was legal that they would do the same if they smoked a joint. That's where I'm coming from with that comment.

Yes, I love the shit outta some Holy Grail.
I miss having hangovers that lasted only a few hours. Now they last for two fucking days.
