Hello! (a TMI introduction)

Hi all,

I got my first ever positive pregnancy test yesterday, and am about 4 weeks along.  I had some brown discharge today which really caught me off guard and made me worried, but a lot of people seem to think it can be normal.  I'm really hoping that's the case, and that I'll be around long enough to get to know everyone!

My EDD is July 29, 2014

    Welcome and congrats! I'm (theoretically) due July 12th. This is my first, too. I ended up taking three tests just to be sure. Super excited :)

    Welcome and congrats! I also just got a BFP after FF changed my crosshairs and I thought I was out for sure!

    I think I am about 4 weeks along as well. I am going to call my doc on Monday and schedule an appointment to see when my actual EDD is.

    I had the same thing. Probably implantation spotting!! It appears to be normal!!

    Thanks! Fingers crossed that it is just implantation spotting.  And congrats to you guys as well!

    I had that 4 days after my BFP at 14 DPO. It was nothing :) Welcome and good luck!

    I also had that for a few days. At first thought it was my period starting. Then just didn't seem normal. So several positive hpt later I'm assuming implantation as well. I'm about 5 weeks. Spotting has stopped just a bit of cramping! Good luck! We are all this together!

    I had spotting on & off from around 6 & half weeks til about 14..... I wouldnt b concerned unless its accompanied by pain or turn red :o)

    So my spotting went away fora couple of days (I then let myself relax and truly believe all is well)...it came back last night with a mild ache in my lower abdomen (on and off). Now very worried again but trying but to be. I have my first midwife appointment on Friday so hoping all's ok and she can put my mind at ease :-/

    I am waiting to see if I get my period this month (due this week) if not I am taking the test this weekend. I also had a very small amount of the discharge with a light brown tinge. I read about the implantation bleeding so I am hoping that's all mine was as well! Congrats!! Good luck with your midwife appointment!!

    Congrats! Don't worry too much about it (I know it's hard). That happen to me on my first pregnancy. I had the dark brown spotting. I went to ER but it's just implantation bleeding. try to relax & rest :-)

    I had a little bit around then too.  Just one time when I wiped and had my first u/s Monday and everything is fine!  As long as its not alot or with bad cramping/pain then things are likely fine, try not to stress out, that definitely not good for you!  If you super worried call your DR.

    Congrats! I'm pregnant with our first- four weeks, two days. I had a little brown discharge on Sunday, but the dr. office said no worries.

    I'm so glad to hear these positive things! My spotting has stopped again for now so trying to relax and enjoy...are you all in the US? I'm in the uk and from what I'm reading it seems like the prenatal care and appointment process is quite different over here! Hoping to hear a heartbeat on Friday (with MW's Doppler), that will feel like the first hurdle at just under 8 weeks...roll on 12 weeks and ultrasound, I'm rubbish at secrets!!!

    My SIL had spotting until she was around 16wks and is having a healthy girl :)
