Secret Santa??

So I saw on the July board that they are doing a secret Santa with one another (whoever wants to join).. Would anyone be interest in doing something like that? A gift to our LO? Nothing expensive, just a little somethin somethin. If no, then I hear ya, just thought since we all are getting to know one another better.. why not share the joy lol.

ETA: I can write everyone's name who wants to join and draw them randomly? Just a thought, and then message you, the only thing would be the addresses. It doesn't HAVE to be "secret" Santa

Me too. I participated in an ornament exchange for bloggers for three years and was burned last year. I hand made her ornament and the bitch never even responded to any of my emails, wouldn't even let me know if she received her gift. I'm still bent out of shape apparently!

With elfster - the only person who can see your address is the one who draws you. Others can only see your names, likes and if asked a question - usually about likes and dislikes.

@kkay1982 I guess it could be totally up to the person doing the gift. For the address part.. PP said that elfster will only allow the person who picked you to know, so that's a plus. If you guys want to have a price limit as well we can make one! Any other ideas?!

We will see how many yes's and no's there are throughout the weekend. Yay! This makes it feel more and more like Christmas

@hauntedradio thanks! I've just went online to elfster and set all that up, two groups.. One for Canadians, and the other for U.S.. Not sure where anyone else is from, but it doesn't mean they can't join. I'm just getting DS out of bed, if you wanted to make a poll you totally can

I'm up for it! I think if you make a poll for yes' and no's, you'll be able to get a better idea of who is in. I know that I'm a apart of a fb group that uses elfster all the time and they love it, so I would suggest using that.

I love this idea and want to say im in but think I'm going to listen to the little voice in my head saying to pass. I've had so much going on I would HATE to say yes and then be the D bag who doesn't send a gift.

I'm the same way. I always have the best intention to participate then life gets in the way and I have to flake out. I figure if I couldn't commit to the children's book exchange a friend sent me I probably can't commit to this either (although I would love to).

Plus this. Don't want to promise and then be the flake.
