My co-worker called her baby "Peanut" it was cute... But now that she has, I feel like I need to do something different, this week I called her/him/them my little apple seeds! Lol since that's what size they are, tomorrow starts sweet pea and that name might stick!
Seed because the baby was the size of a poppy seed when we found out.
We met in middle school. We got married 15 years later in a February blizzard of 2010.

At my IVF transfer (when they put back the embryo) every patient is assigned a color, just another step to keep mistakes from happening. Mine is green so the nurse was joking and said we should call him/her Kelly Green. Kelly being a unisex name. It's semi stuck for now. We usually just call him/her baby brother/sister. Or new Baby.
My husband calls him/her Baby, I say poppy seed right now, but I keep thinking it is baby ET, because our girl name is Ellette and our boy name is Tobias. I haven't mentioned this to DH yet and will probably keep saying poppy seed until we hit apple seed
My husband still doesn't believe I'm pregnant yet and I don't think it's hit me yet either. DS has been keeping us busy so we haven't really had a chance to sit and talk about it.
no nickname for this one yet! With DD we called her Squishy (like from Finding Nemo) and after we knew she was a girl, we called her Squisha. We chose her name right after we found out she was a girl, but I still felt like I couldn't call her that while she was in my belly.
"Carlos". We stole it from The Hangover. Our first baby was also called Carlos until the gender scan revealed it was a girl, so we changed it to Carlita. DD's actual name is Ilaria
We will probably just call it baby also. Even after picking a name for baby #1 I still just called him baby until he was born. It just felt weird to me to call him by his name.
My husband comes up with a random boy/girl name and asks "how is baby Jimbo/Violet or Carlos/Carlita (his name is Charlie) doing? It's kind of cute and its entertaining for me to hear the next crazy little names he is going to spit out bc they are super random and weird sometime!! Lol!
My husband also doesn't believe I'm pregnant yet, thank goodness for an appointment with the dr. today to confirm it all. I am even going to make the doc right it out for my husband. haha. I have referred to it either as "Nugget", "Bean" or "Huju". I personally like "Huju" because if its a boy, the plan is to name it Hunter, and if its a girl it will be named Juliana.
Re: Baby "X"
We totally need to come up with something cuter.
