Huggies Smell

I recently bought a small bag of Huggies Snug & Dry. I really like the way they fit LO, but when she pees in them I can smell the urine!! Does this happen to anyone else? She doesn't smell in the Pampers.

    I didn't like Huggies snug and dry, only Huggies little snugglers. Also, I could smell my lo's urine in the target brand.

    I think it depends on the pee lol... I use huggies little snugglers and sometimes I smell it and other times, I don't. Not sure how helpful that is..

    I could all the time with huggies! I feel like pampers baby dry does this too, but the swaddlers are fine.

    We had major blow outs with the Pampers, which is why we were trying other brands. Then we stopped giving so much mylicon and poopsplosions have stopped.

    I can smell my baby's pee in any diaper. It's not her pee itself, just the way it mixes with diapers. We use pampers because they leak the least.

    I actually do think huggies have a stronger scent on their own (without pee) so that may be why you notice it more.

    Also I just started a small box of huggies we were gifted. Today I was holding DD and she was wearing one and a sleeper and she still managed to pee out the side of the diaper, all over her sleeper, on my arm and all over the floor.

    I don't think we'll be finishing the box.

    I don't like huggies because it doesn't have that fresh baby smell like other diapers. I use luvs mostly and pampers if I have coupons.

    Yes the smell grosses me out but right now they are doing great at containing her blowouts. I probably won't go back to them when I am done this package.

    I agree with the funky smell. Unfortunately we were gifted a 244 count box and I *just* opened it this morning.

    Yep, but it's never bothered me too badly. We're going to give Pampers another try (they fit horribly in NB) but if they don't work I'm not heartbroken.

    I guess I can smell his pee, but I change him as soon as I can anyway, so no biggie. We use Huggies snug n dry. I've never noticed them having a smell on their own and really only had blow-outs/leaks when we needed to size up!
