Shame on you that don't like milk chocolate. My UO - while I love the GTKY posts, I don't read or respond when there is more than one or two questions. They get tooooo loooonnnggg.
Mine- I just can't get involved in super intense Bump discussions. Vaccinations, CIO, health care.... No one is going to convince someone else of their opinion on a message board. It's just not going to happen. I'm happy to offer an opinion but I won't spend time writing long arguments for or against something.
Bangs??? I do NOT understand the trend. I have never met a person in real life who I think they look better on.

While I agree that no one will change someone else's opinion on the matter, I like to get in those serious discussions to try and learn the opposing side, their reasoning for it. That is how I learn more about a subject as well..
I will post a UO later, I have to think about it.. lol. It needs to be unpopular, kinda difficult to do.
It drives me bonkers when women say they have to ask their husband to spend money/go out/do something, but the husband doesn't extend the same courtesy. Its submissive and ridiculous. You have just as much of a right to want and do things as your H. I support collaborative decision making and obviously discussing schedules and plans in a functional way, but the whole one way asking permission to do something makes my inner feminist angry/sad.

Bangs??? I do NOT understand the trend. I have never met a person in real life who I think they look better on.
I had a sweet fringe until junior year in high school. Like, full on set with a round brush and blow dryer bangs. I wish I could find a picture. NEVER AGAIN.

Oh you mean like this.....ya, I was super hot in middle school :-&
I hate when people use the term "butt hurt". Sounds so silly to me but maybe I am just getting old and am not down with the hip lingo of today's youth.... :-B
This isnt really an opinion, but more of an unpopular relationship maybe.. My MIL is pretty much my best friend and I see her as more of a mother to me than my own mother.
Yes, hehe. My DD always asks for ice in her milk but I can't bring myself to do it. (She only wants it because she likes the sound ice makes when she shakes her cup.)
My DS loves ice in his milk for the same reason- the noise. :-)
@JBDamonM I'm assuming you're talking full-on across the forehead bangs? Because side swept bangs look universally good on everyone. I agree that MOST people cant pull off full-on bangs, but I have known some people who looked awesome and glamorous with them. Probably because they were rail-thin and celebrity-beautiful to begin with, but whatever!
@JSS1002 I don't really understand your UO... can you explain?
@briannah1010 I agree! I like milk in my cereal as long as there's not TOO much milk in each spoonful, but I will NOT drink the milk out of the bowl when I'm done. Ick. And the thought of drinking milk out of a glass? gagggg!
My UO (is it unpopular?): I think school should be year-round. Summer is way too long and students forget everything. It makes SO much more sense to have more breaks that are shorter throughout the year since we're not an agricultural society anymore. Honestly, I am bored out of my gourd by about halfway through the summer.

Bangs??? I do NOT understand the trend. I have never met a person in real life who I think they look better on.
LOL.. I just got bangs!! AND I have curly hair! Kinda risky, but it's working out so far.
My UO: I'm intrigued by baby lead weaning and I can't understand why so many people get ridiculed for doing it. It makes a ton of sense to me! I had to do some research to find out what it was - because at first I thought it was weaning the baby from the breast and ONLY giving him solid, non-pureed foods and I was like, WHAT? Now that I know it's not about ending BF-ing, it makes total sense.
Kind of along these lines, I hate it when someone knocks/ridicules/etc. someone's choice, whether it be BLW, CIO, BFing, etc. and then follows it up with "Well, I don't know much about it," "I've never done any research on it," or my personal favorite: telling a poster that CIO is bad/abuse/dangerous while in the same breath saying that their kid has been STTN since they were born. If you say any of the above, I will automatically tune you out.
Going with milk...if I have a glass of milk for dunking and crumbs get inside ( impossible to avoid) I get a clean glass with fresh milk for drinking. Wasteful I know. But it skeeves me out!!
Sorry lol not really an uo
To add to this, I wouldn't be caught dead drinking the milk in the bottom of my cereal bowl. I hate how it tastes and the nasty little cereal bits floating around. Just threw up in my mouth a little bit thinking of it. :-&
Milk- hate it. I do use it in my cereal and love drinking what's left in the bowl. Weirdest craving I had when pregnant was milk. I couldn't get enough. I wanted a glass of milk with whatever we were having. It grossed me out a little but then I was so happy when drinking it. After baby girl was born, I hate it again. (I did drink over a cup of it while making mashed potatoes because I warmed too much up.... I didn't want to be wasteful. )
My UO- I hate designer bags/ purses. I don't get the appeal as I think most are ugly and/or impractical. Plus, I could never imagine spending more than $20 or $30 on a purse. Oh, and Vera Bradley stuff.... ack... horrendous...
Okay, I am personally offended! Designer bags are not ugly!!!!!! And Vera Bradley is not designer. I wouldn't be carrying that stuff either, I kind of agree about that. I have a Vera tote bag for travelling, but I wouldn't carry it as a purse.
$20-$30 on a bag?! I mean I get not wanting to spend $400, but a bag that costs $20 is going to be cheap, synthetic, icky, and will soon fall apart.
(But I am a little bit of a designer whore.)
Also, you drank WARM milk?!! OMgggg!!!! Ick haha. I guess your opinions are very unpopular with me!

I LOVE milk. When I was pregnant with Ginny, I was drinking 1-2 gallons a week by myself. That being said, I would NEVER drink milk at the bottom of a cereal bowl. Gross.

Very bradley is hideous, unless you are grandma carrying your knitting...
I figure you can have 10-15 $20-$30 bags, or one bag that lasts forever. My $300 Kate Spade lasted from my 30th birthday until my 36th, and then I upgraded as a gift to myself this year with a $300 coach -- I told the sales clerk, "I'll see ya again when I'm 42." Haha.
Humblebrag = the way of being self-depricating / woe is me but bragging at the same time. Example, "I have just lost so much weight that I'm swimming in everything I own - without even trying!" or "Ughhhhh, I drank way too much champagne on the flight; I gotta learn how to control myself in first class or they'll cancel my modeling contract."
Or in our case - "ughhhhhhhh I just produce SO! MUCH! BREASTMILK! that I can't keep weight on and I had to go buy a whole new wardrobe!"

Nothing better than a glass of milk with ice in it. My favorite thing when I Lived in the city and was hungover was to get a small container of Nestlé quik chocolate milk and put it in the freezer for an hour. Tasted so good and was a miracle cure!
This might be very unpopular but, I don't like places or events that are geared for children being offered during what is most toddlers' nap times. at about 1-2 years old naps go down to a single nap, around lunch time. If you plan a birthday party or if there is something in a museum, etc. I won't be going. There is nothing fun about a bunch of toddlers/ little kids who are all cranky and crazy because they should be sleeping. People think I am crazy with this one so I fully expect to be flamed.
Ugghhh I already threw up this morning and the milk conversation has me moving my trash bin closer to my desk. I'm sure a big piece of milk chocolate would cure my nausea though!
I hate how everything Christmas related in school has turned into "winter festivities". I mean really with the winter holiday, winter performance, winter tree and so on. We're getting the holiday off because of Christmas, not because it's winter and the tree is a damn Christmas tree.
I agree. There's nothing wrong with having a Christmas tree/display IF you also acknowledge and celebrate other holidays. Its a great time to talk about cultural celebrations that is missed if you try to over PC-ify everything.
"I wanted you more than you'll ever know, so I sent love to follow wherever you go."
I find really buff guys unattractive and I hate the movie Magic mike. It's something so creepy about male strippers to me
I don't like really buff guys either but they should not be smaller than me! I am a sucker for wide shoulders!
I also like guys that are bigger than me. Male strippers in general embarrass me -- so awkward -- but I am a sucker for anything involving fun music and good choreography and good writing (Soderbergh, people!), so I liked Magic Mike. But I had to watch it alone -- too weird and awkward and embarrassing to watch with anybody else! Haha.
I love reptiles and sharks way more than I think I could ever love a dog. Dogs are gross! (Tame, but I don't really have anything else)
I hate dogs, too. They smell bad and they're kind of needy and pathetic. People think I'm absolutely nuts for not liking dogs, but ew! Once you pet them your hand smells bad!

I don't understand throwing LO a huge first birthday party. Yes, I will have a party, but I do not intend on making a huge ordeal out of it. He won't remember or care and at that point I think it becomes more about the parents than the baby. Which I guess is fine for some people, it's just not my thing.

Eh, we also dress our babies cute and decorate their nursery, but they won't remember. I think 1st birthday parties are more for the parents/family to celebrate surviving a year.
