What are you asking for this year?

I've been dying for a Kitchenaid stand mixer for like 5 years now. I think I might actually get it this year! Wooooooot.

Lame as it sounds... gift cards from Target , Lowes, and Home Depot. We moved over the summer and are still trying to fix things here and there.

I'm not much of a baker but I got one as a wedding gift, and I absolutely adore it -- I bake more, but it also is great for stuff like shredding chicken, mixing up mashed potatoes, meatloaf, etc. I love love love.

Ooh I never thought of shredding chicken or making mashed potatoes! I love making cookies - especially for the holidays. This will make royal icing MUCH easier.

Wonderful for mashed potatoes! I'll cook up the little red ones. I don't mind some of the skin but when you mix it up the some of the skins will stick to the blade so you can easily remove them.
And they make a scraper attachment that is a must have!

I want a spa robe. And DH and I just got new phones. Happy early Christmas !!

The shredded chicken is fantastic - I put chicken in the crock with a jar of salsa, and then shred it for tacos or enchiladas. SO GOOD.

I love my kitchen aid mixer. I had wanted one for years and always envisioned registering for it. Then I started dating my now husband. For my first birthday we celebrated together I told him I wanted the mixer and why. I got it...guess he figured it was cheaper than an engagement ring;) I would like a G gold necklace.

OSC, I have seriously asked for the kitchenaid mixer for years too.

I would love to have someone clean my house once a week (at least!) Someone make this happen for me. And not just vacuuming. M loves the vacuum, I do it all the time. I'm talking scrubbing, sweeping, wiping down, dusting, spot-cleaning carpets. I love a clean house

@JSS1002 - Not weird at all. That is typically how I feel, however since having LO we are poor, so this year there are things I want!

I'd like for DH to get me some new UGGS, and new pajamas. In a dream world - I'd also get a new purse, but I know I"m not getting that much and that's fine. I actually got two push presents (one of them was pre-ordered with an April birthstone but LO decided to arrive in March!) so theoretically I deserve nothing

From my family (we pick names) I'm going all practical. Gift card for hair. My expensive face cream (that I only ask for for Christmas and make it last most of the year)....gift cards to Target since I live there ETC.

ANd for my sap - I'd take a loss on all gifts for a few stress free months in my life

I'd like new oven mitts, new hot spots, a new blender, a yoga mat strap or bag, a pretty gym bag, cute rubber boots so I can play in the water in the spring with DS, a pair of carhartt overalls for ice fishing this winter.

We agreed to a name exchange with my side of the family, DH and I haven't talked about gifts for each other yet, but my recommendation is going to be "let's get a sitter and a hotel room downtown and a nice dinner one night and have that be our gift to each other". We'll see.

It's funny too because when I found out I was pregnant I OBSESSED about the fact that LO was going to have an April birthstone (diamond).... OBSESSED! I reminded my husband every chance I got.

I chuckled when my water broke on 3/30 and I realized there was no chance I was making it to April.

And ironically I wound up really happy with the Aquamarine birthstone. Everyone has diamonds....You can get them for any reason. But the aqua marine ring DH got me for a Mothers Day/push present is my most prized possesion for everything it stands for Plus - I think it's a pretty stone!

The Kitchen Aid mixer is awesome! We got the pasta making attachment last year and DH has made fetuccini and ravioli. He also got a meat grinder and likes to grind his own meat. My little chef.

I was also pretty fired up about the diamond possibilities, but blue is my favorite color, so aquamarine is just fine with me!

I got a Pandora bracelet. Yes, I already have it. Got it last Sunday. SO and I have NEVER been able to wait until Christmas to give each other gifts and since he got all of his games and accessories for his PlayStation 4 already I decided I wanted my gift too! I absolutely love it!

An amazing diaper bag. One that has tons of pockets but looks like a trendy handbag and that I can wear cross-body. I still haven't chosen one yet. I am open to suggestions! Mostly I am just excited for the baby's first Christmas, though!

Try Timi & Leslie. I have the Jessica in taupe...love it! You wouldn't know it's a diaper bag and I get lots of compliments on it
