Cooking. My appetite is back now, but coming up with recipes, buying the ingredients, cooking it, and then doing the dishes seems like such a massive chore. *sigh*
If I didn't have a toddler to feel guilty about not feeding well, we'd be eating Kraft Dinner every night, haha.
I had to laugh at your post because yesterday was my day off and one of the things I was psyched about was not having to shower.
But I do have to agree that cooking is so much more annoying now than it used to be. I really just don't enjoy it at all anymore. It was one of the reasons I had to get out of making Thanksgiving dinner this year.
@holljade what do you use? I've tried tresemme and hate the smell and suave which did nothing. I have dry ends and my roots are greasy after a day. Constant ombré look.

I started using Kirkland 100% organic shampoo and condition it's like 7.50 for the big costco size bottles my ends were horrible and hair was falling out and my brothers girlfriend got my mom and I hooked
I have the hardest time motivating to wash my face and brush/floss at night. I pretty much want to get up from the dinner table and climb straight under the covers. The dreaded pregnancy gingivitis keeps me in check with the dental hygiene, however begrudgingly, but the face sometimes has to wait until morning. Oh well. I don't want to wash the "glow" off, right?
Showering...especially shaving and washing hair! I have been only washing my hair every 2-3 days.
Also cooking then the clean up, ugh. I hate, hate, hate leaving dirty dishes in the sink overnight but it has been happening at least once or twice a week!
I've been really annoyed about everything post-shower. Once I finally decide to shower, it's soooo warm ad feels nice but I know I have to get out. I'm freezing when I dry off, then I have to get a brush through my tangled hair, pick out clothes to wear, put on deodorant/perfume, put on clothes, put on shoes, etc. It's so exhausting!
I much prefer my shower days going like this: shower, lay in bed with towel on, get up after mid-morning nap: clothes are optional. Can THAT be my new daily routine?
Shaving or any form or hair removal (mustache included), and this is weird but cleaning the bathroom was one of my favorite chores ... Not so much anymore.
Yeah I've totally given up on shaving. I bought one of those cheap Clio electric razor and pull it out a couple times a week when my legs feel gross. It doesn't get super close and always feels a little stubbly, but it's better than the alternative of braiding my leg hair. If it doesn't involve water and I can do it sitting down, I'm ALL for that!
Primping. I'm generally pretty low maintenance anyways but blow drying my hair and putting on makeup has been a chore.
This! Except I haven't really worn make up since before my first. When I do take the time to put make up on, i usually get looked at like I have 3 heads! My hair lives in a hair tie these days.
Doing my hair and make up. Also, shaving down there. All of those are somewhat necessary to me. I don't like going out in public without getting ready and if I don't shave then it just bugs me, so I do it anyways!
Ah yes, you all reminded me I hate blow drying my hair and doing make up now. I have gotten a little better about it since I just got a hair cut, but most of my first tri I went with a pony tail, even to work, because I had no motivation to do my hair. And I blew off my haircut appointment and did not reschedule for three weeks because it just seemed like such a hassle.
Make up definitely gets done for work - on the weekends, not so much.
@AprilMay9 I hate the tresemme one too. Psssst! is the best! Harder to find at most stores, at least in my area, but Walgreens and Rite Aid always seem to have it.
Is anyone else glad that we will not be KU during beach/short season?
I spent all last years beach/short season pregnant and it was horrifying... I was completely pale, hairy, make-up less, and I was too hot and lazy to worry if any of my clothes matched or even fit properly... I looked like one of those "People of Walmart" from the photo collages.
All of the above. Although I am determined to get dressed and made up at some point today so I can finally participate in the HDBD thread. This belly is getting way too big to boycott the belly pictures for much longer!
Definitely drying my hair. I had to change up my morning routine so it's not the last thing I do because I was skipping i way too often. I can't skip putting on clothes, so that is now the last thing I do after showering. Although, clothes is a whole separate issue leading to tears on more than one occassion.

Combing and drying my hair. I have no idea why but every time I lift my arms up to do either I start getting dizzy/numb/tingly. It's weird! I have to drag my kitchen chair in the bathroom to sit down! I feel crazy!
You know what makes showering better? I shower with my husband as much as possible
I HATE showering with my SO!! He's too tall so I don't like the angle he likes the water and then I'm just freezing a naked while he's warm and comfy. Plus I like the water scalding hot and he likes it cool. So, that's a no go for me!

I had a sample of Klorane dry shampoo it's pricy $18 for 3.2oz bottle but it's the only dry shampoo that really works on my oily roots

Cooking, cleaning, showering, exercising, make-up, shaving..... getting dressed...
It's pretty sad. I think most everyone would assume me to be a homeless pregnant lady by the end if I didn't force myself to do any of the above...
