Late to the party...intro

I just wanted to introduce myself...I found this board a few weeks ago and have been dropping in from time to time. Seems overall like a very supportive, drama-free place :-) I'm looking forward to joining in!

We live in Brookline, MA (although I work in NY during the week) and I am 16 weeks today...Team TBD for another few weeks (our anatomy scan is the day before Thanksgiving).

Anyway....hi!

    I'll add-- when I went to register for the Bump, it actually resurrected my very, very old Knot name and wouldn't let me change it, so....yeah. That's why my handle says Bride.

    have you been around the knot/nest forever?  your account was created in 2001 and that, combined with the fact that i could swear i recognize your screen name from years ago before i even opened up your profile, makes me wonder if i might be right about recognizing you from somewhere on other chat boards long ago...

    anyway, i digress.  glad you're here!  congratulations on the baby and make yourself at home here :)

    Thanks! I just saw 2001, too-- which is pretty crazy...and embarrassing...considering I actually got married in 2007. I was never really active in the boards (kind of on the Knot, not really at all on the Nest) but since the screen name is pretty simple (you know, since apparently I was an "early adopter" :-/ ) I'm sure there are many just like it.

    @Bluebird2318 - That strawberry cake looks amazing!  And here I was thinking I might be able to go a little bit of time before the major cake craving hit again.  :)

    i just went back and found my ooooold knot account.  it says i was married in 1998, which i definitely wasn't :)  something's funny with the really old accounts...  my original one was created in 2004!
