I personally hate it when people say "I don't have time to look for other posts, like you do." Like their life is oh soooo important and yours is not. I'm not near as active as I used to be. I've been very busy. I don't however take the stress of my busy life out on other bumpies who do have the time to be more active. Good for them, at least someone is keeping the board alive. That response is lame and very condescending. We had the same problem on TK too. Everyone wants to come on an take advantage of the support and advice but when they hear something they don't like, that's when the snide attacks start. Good for you that you don't have time for this shit tastic board (as it has been referred to). Feel free to exit.

This is the issue here. The way I read her post it sounded like she was just pointing out that there was a similar post very recently, which people do all the time. A little snarky? Maybe. It looked to me like some people took way too much offense to a simple comment.

Use snark when it's warranted. I haven't personally seen 50904 posts about a 12 week sleep regression, and I try my best to peruse the board on a daily basis. A simple, here is the link would have sufficed. So again, if there were a million of these, sorry. I do think the position a few people took which is, my baby never sleeps so I am sick of people asking about sleep regression is BS. Just because your baby doesn't sleep doesn't mean I can't ask a question about it.

Not that anyone cares, here is my take on it.

1) Every single time I have looked at the board the past few weeks there has been at least one sleep post. I can see how another one is old and redundant.

2) Maritza was a bit too harsh in her wording, I even cringed a bit.

3) There is only one poster this in this entire thread that I don't know.

4) I bet no one recognizes me anymore either since I haven't actually posted in a week.

BTW, my DH just saw your siggy and recognized you. He said, "Isn't that the girl with the video?" I showed it to him way back when and we both cried. I think it's adorable he remembered your siggy from a year ago. Anyway, he scolded me for my previous comment and told me to say he is very happy for you, as am I. :P
