Who else is showing everywhere but the belly?

Something happened to me this weekend. We went to Tahoe for my birthday and between Friday when we went up and today going home, I've got a different body. I knew something was up when I got into my bathing suit. The first day I wore it, it was no big deal. The second day, all eyes immediately went to my mid-section.

I've grown, like, five inches in two days. The thing is, it's all sideways. My hips and stomach are wide and huge, and my arms hit them when I walk. But in profile I look no different.

Anyone else seeing their bump appear in awkward places? I want my stomach to pop so I can start looking pregnant! Instead I just look squishy and wide. I know @pineconey is convinced the baby is growing in her boobs, so wanted to know who else is seeing their body grow and be less than bump-like? Let's commiserate, ladies!

My boobs have become ridiculously huge and I was told by a coworker my butt and hips are growing. Another girl told me my body is becoming round.

My stomach looks pregnant, but um so do my thighs and ass now, lol. It sucks.

I am super jealous of women who are "all belly."

I've always, always had an hourglass, no matter how much weight I've gained. Now I'm getting closer to pear or apple shaped.

I know this is part of being pregnant, having my body change, but I was looking forward to growing OUT.

The top of my stomach is just as big as the bottom..... And I cannot button any of my work pants but I don't have a belly. It must be all ass I guess. Awesome.

@BiggerinRealLife - I could've written this myself. I love my normal hourglass figure, and now I look like a turd on 2 toothpicks. And, my heart-shaped face is now very round with a double chin. I miss my curves and I'm not happy with the extra squish - especially since I don't eat very much and I stay as active as my body will allow. Oh well, my husband still thinks I'm sexy, and that's all that matters.

I'm feeling pretty lucky that my face isn't involved yet, but I can definitely tell a difference in my butt and thighs. My boyshort underwear have become thongs because my butt is so big it keeps eating them.

My body changed overnight like that too... it was totally freaky. I went from comfortably wearing regular jeans one day to "no way in hell I can wear these, maybe ever again" literally in one day.

My A$$!! I noticed it's practically twice the size it used to be.. If this keeps up I don't know what I'll do.. I'm just trying to keep in mind we're growing a miracle and regardless of how our body changes that's what is important. Then I see my ass and forget that lol

i'm opposite. i have this sticky-outy belly and huge boobs, but i'm not yet bloated in my face or legs (though i harbor NO delusions that that magical moment will somehow escape me in the third tri.... bloat city, here i come!!)

I feel I am growing a huge belly!! But I went to ultrasound today and realized the baby is still so low so what's up with my huge belly? Lol looking way bigger than 4 months shod in sure I truely trying to let it go and enjoy this we are supposed to feel empowered and amazing no? Thought it be easier though getting ready in the mirror has been frustrating but way worth it I know just idk didn't know if care so much I guess I have more figuring out on the inside than I thought We are all beautiful we carry life the most amazing thing on this planet!!!!!! We cant forget that

Oh I am huge all over. It's ridiculous. I'm starting to think it is a girl since they say you carry everywhere with girls, haha! I feel so, so big! I've already gained 20+ pounds. Fun times!

My ass is just flabbier. From sitting on it. Between the carbs and sugar that is all I want to eat anymore, less workouts from nausea, then headaches and now cold weather... yep. I'll fix it in the spring I guess. My belly grows out front and the sides, I have a really short torso, so it grows where it can. Kind of stinks.

I got wider and now I have a spare tire thing going on. No real bump. I am wearing maternity clothes to deal with all my squish. The most frustrating thing EVER is that my friends don't think I look any different! Come on, I'm not this squishy in real life! It's pretty insulting.

Ugh! Me!!
With my boys I had a round cute belly. With this LO my hips have spread, cheeky are chunky, I won't even start on my thighs and boobs.

*raises hand and waves frantically in the air* ME OOH ME!! I'm already a bigger girl, but I seriously look like I've grown an innertube around my middle. It's just icky. And my thighs, and DAT ASS. My GOD.

With DS I was mostly belly...it had some pudge clinging to it, but everything else slimmed down and pulled out to the front, and it was gloriously obvious that I was carrying a child. This LO wants to wrap herself around all of me, and I'm still getting the "is she....or...no wait...." looks from people.

IDK...DH seems to find it super sexy that I'm pregnant, so at least I have that going for me.

@homediva I'm hoping that's true! I've heard that about averting all over with girls, and since I'm team green I try not to listen to old wives takes. But I have heard that that one is pretty accurate.

@NicoleAnne416 Maybe that's it! I have a short torso too, and it didn't even occur to me that the two may be related. Something to think about.

Perhaps...everything about this pregnancy is the polar opposite of my last, from the lack of symptoms to the way I'm carrying...everything. And this time it's a girl...so maybe there's at least some truth to that particular OWT...

My hips have gotten HUGE I also have a giant belly though, and only gained 5lbs so dont know how that works. I am a nurse and barely fit in my scrubs, good thing I'll be put off work in a few weeks!

I'm still at the same weight I was when I lost 15 pounds pre-baby. And yet nothing fits and I look like I've put on at least 20. So I feel ya, @Jessiemax. My doc says I'll catch up in weight during my 2nd tri, and I'm only suppossed to gain 15-20 pounds instead of the normal amount because if my pre-pregnancy weight. Still, I keep hoping to see those numbers creep up every time I hit the scale! It's frustrating to look so much bigger but not have the weight to match it!

I am seriously considering asking my doc to ultrasound both butt cheeks because my husband and I are convinced they may be hiding a set of twins. As for where the real baby actually is? Just flab that is pouched out more than normal. Really depressing.

I've got a small bump, but I'm wider and my thighs are bigger, and my boobs are huge (considering I was AA turned C)... DH said to me yesterday that he couldn't stop staring at my cleavage. I was wearing a lower cut top and no scarf (I almost always wear a scarf) and it was just boobs, everywhere. It's so weird. I feel like I'm getting wider and not really growing out. I want the nice round bump already!

My face is like the first place I gain weight/ bloat. It's really nice for photos.

Thank god for this post! My butt and thighs have gotten SO MUCH BIGGER. I've been really struggling with it, and DH tells me I'll feel better when I have an actual bump. But seriously - WTH!
