BF question!!!

I don't normally get around to posting but I'm stressing out about breastfeeding! I bf my son about every 3 hours for about 30-45 minutes total sometimes less and he always seems content but when I pump I get only 3oz at a time and I'm nervous maybe he's not getting enough because he seems on the small side ( he was full term and 6lbs 10oz at birth) so he wasn't all to big to begin with. Sometimes when I nurse him he gets fussy and pulls away.He sleeps through the night and can go almost 6 hours without any feedings. I guess I'm nervous he dosent eat enough in total for the day how are other moms bf schedules and do you guys let lo tell you when they are hungry?

Thank you! I've read that babies get more milk out of a breast than pumping? Does anyone else agree?

They definitely can get more out than a pump can. Also, hungry babies are not happy babies. If your LO seems content, odds are he's getting plenty.

Yup. That's true.

Check your area hospitals for nursing support groups. They will weigh baby before and after eating. Gives you a rough idea of what they take in.
