AW: Induction attempt 2 scheduled LONG

After my failed induction on Friday I went in this morning to see my midwife again. Turns out the doctor who refused to finish my induction is the owner of the practice. He will not allow my midwife to induce again until Tuesday 11/19 which is 41 weeks. He feels my BP isn't high enough, LO's kidneys aren't dilated enough and LO's decreased growth isn't worrisome enough to warrant induction any sooner. In the meantime we've scheduled my induction for the 19th and will do non stress tests twice this week. Midwife doesn't want me to go back to work either. She's very concerned for me and more importantly LO but other doctor doesn't seem to care at all.

I've called a few other offices around here but the earliest I could be seen is Monday so it's not worth the hassle of switching to a different office.

My midwife informed me that she put in her notice and will be leaving the practice. She said he is terrible to work for and constantly undermines her. She said that this was the last straw for her. She'll only be there for 4 weeks.

    So when you go back on the 19th he is going to be delivering your baby? Is there another OB in the practice that can do it? I hate to think of you having to deal with him again.

    @cagoldi There will be another doctor from the practice on call Tuesday through Thursday next week. I told my midwife I refused to be seen by him and she was able to work that out.

    I'm glad you don't have to see him! He does sound like a piece of work and I agree with @karissa2009 about filing a complaint.
