Things To Do In ATL

We're coming to ATL next month so DH can go to a training class. We'll be there late Sunday night through Tuesday night. I was planning on taking DS (3) to Build-A-Bear, The Children's Museum, and probably the Pink Pig. Is there anything else we can do to make the most of our short trip? We won't be doing anything Sunday night since we're hitting Fantasy in Lights at Callaway on the way up. I just don't want to have to sit in the hotel any longer than we absolutely have to.

  • I am not a huge fan of the Children's Museum. I think I got spoiled by the one in Chattanooga. The Aquarium is awesome or if the weather is pleasant, we also really enjoy the zoo. As another possibility, you might want to look into the "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer" puppet show at the Center for Puppetry Arts (puppet.org). There are morning showings on Tuesdays that y'all could make it to.

  • The aquarium is nice, but be prepared.  It isn't cheap.  At.All.  I'd pick the zoo over the aquarium unless it's just too cold.  I agree on the show at the Center of Puppetry Arts.  Definitely get to that if you can.  There's also the new lego world in Buckhead.  I haven't been, but I have friends with boys around 4 and they love it.  You could add that when you're at the Pink Pig.
  • We just went to the aquarium over the summer, so I wanted to skip that even though we may end up going again because he loved it so much. He would love Legoland! Thanks ladies!

  • Piedmont park is nice if the weather is good.
