Rib pain..

Hi Ladies! So I have this nagging hacking cough that sounds like I've smoked for 20+ years. Not a smoker. Anyway, in all the hacking I managed to seriously pull a muscle around one of my ribs. This is excruciating. Breathing even hurts. Anybody experience this??

    Not rib pain stemming from coughing, but I do cough in the morning when I get out of bed - assuming from my lungs trying to shift around where there's no space to shift around, and I have rib pain associated with knees trying to dig them out of my body!

    Just take it easy! Wish I had some advice for you!

    A friend of mine broke her rib coughing while pregnant and I think in my lurking a month or two ago on either Nov13 or Dec 13 board someone posted that they broke a rib the same way. Not that there is anything they would do differently but it could impact healing time. Hope you feel better soon!
