*I'm surprised to see so many people call it "stuffing" -- we only call it stuffing if it's actually being stuffed into the turkey; in the casserole dish, it's dressing!

I just had this conversation with my mom! If it isn't in the turkey, it is dressing! In the turkey, stuffing! Either way, I think it's gross. I'm picky though.

I cannot even read through these replies! I am so unbelievably excited for Thanksgiving! I totally dream about it like 360 days of the year! All of your responses sound so delicious and I cannot wait for my mom's homemade stuffing, mashed taters and GRAVY! And LEFTOVERS! OMG!

I have been craving Thanksgiving dinner for awhile now. I can't wait! My favorite is green bean casserole, followed by my mom's dressing (NOT stuffing from inside the turkey!), but I love it all!

I also make a quiche for breakfast Thanksgiving morning that is a big hit.
