I found a mini bottle of champagne (pronounced sham-pog-nay) in my cabinet and I'm drinking it. I think it's 2 years old. I hate champagne but I am really loving it, HA!

I have a fridge full of excellent beer so it makes no sense.

I ate a pack of butterscotch krimpets while I was waiting for my pumpkin cupcakes to bake. Now I'm eating the super spicy Doritos that I'm addicted to. And I'm watching Grease.

My kind of Saturday night. <:-P

We are watching Grease too. Guys I'm miserable. DH suddenly has no help to do our flooring and he's now talking about putting off dialysis because of it. I don't know what to do. I can help as much as possible but I don't know what to do or say to him. Ugh, sorry I know this is a totally different thread... Just ignore me.

Can he hold off on the flooring until after dialysis? Sorry if there's more backstory that I don't know about (like there's a giant hole in your floor right now or something that needs fixed ASAP)

I do the same thing! We're still in the first month too, but I kind of like being able to set up everything nicely without having Mini-Destructor Baby trying to ruin my creations. Dorky Lady is Me.

Oh, that's totally part of it on my end too. Babies ruin everything and just eat the cow when I try to play Little People Farm with them, haha.

It doesn't help that the stalls are labeled/have the sound effect for each particular animal. They must retire for the night in those spaces.

We've lost the horse though. He's been gone for two days now and it's driving me crazy. I know it was DS who randomly dropped him somewhere. It makes me twitch each night when I'm putting them away.

Ugh, I definitely have an issue.

@harti09 Check the other UGG? Eta-I feel that way too sometimes but mainly because I can't play during the day. Silly needy 4th graders. But I try to catch up and participate some at night.

. Can I ask what kind of flooring it is? I wonder if you guys have relatives that can come help you knock it out? My parents installed wood floors this year themselves. I've done tile, vinyl tile, laminate, and linoleum sheets. Granted, I'm sure some of my work looked like shit.

@mnkate I sometimes dominate the convo when I'm with a friend that I essentially have to quiz / pull teeth to get information out of. That's not fun for me, but effortless blabbering is. After about 30 questions to find out something inconsequential, I just throw in the towel. I start knocking down drinks and off I go with conversation domination.

I'm sure that's not you though LOL. It just made me think about the friend I have.

That's the thing THT, our family was supposed to help and now they have backed out. We have only now dropped $3K getting everything needed in anticipation of them helping. I'm just frustrated because they have been all ,"oh lean on us, well help." Then at the first test of needing and leaning they bail and I am left a frustrated worried mess.

We are doing ceramic tile to essentially 98% of our house all at once. I am going to learn too, but I don't have time to take off right now at work. So it looks like this is going to be the longest install of my life.

Sorry I hate to complain but I am just at a loss and so stressed out.

I do this as well, I also stack all her books on the bookshelf by size. DH thinks I'm nuts, he's not wrong.
