Witch will you be doing? Nursery or just a crib in the bedroom with you? Our will be in a crib in our bedroom cause we live in a 2 bedroom house, I would LOVE to have a nursery though.
We currently live in a 1 bedroom condo so we will have the LO in our bedroom with us (our bedroom is rather large so there is plenty of room). Not sure yet if we are going to set up the crib at first or just do the pack in play with the bassinet to save room. Makes me kind of sad we don't get to decorate a nursery but we will make do until our lease is up next June.
We will have a full nursery set up in another bedroom and will also have a bassinet in our room for the baby until he transitions out of that and into his crib.
We will have a partial nursery set up, but will probably only use a PNP for the first few months (we'll be moving and don't want to buy nice furniture until after the move). The PNP will probably be in our room overnight, and in the nursery during the day.
This is baby #3 so my other kiddos are taking up the other two rooms, which leaves this baby nursery-less (poor #3). So we plan to have to crib in our room, which we would have done even if we had a nursery for the babe, and we are going to put up some small decorations on that side of our room.
We'll move baby into either DD or DS room when babe starts sleeping for long stretches at night.

We will have a nursery but also a bassinet (or something, maybe pack n play) in our room. We plan to have baby sleeping next to our bed for the first 8 ish months? Or however long it takes to get baby sleeping mostly through the night. We will use the nursery for naps as the nursery will be on the main level where we spend the most time.

Had our first baby, Samuel Robert, on April 17, 2014!
We co sleep/room share anyways so she will just have a small crib in our room until we move. Our boys share a room and we have the 3rd bedroom as a playroom. We plan on moving within a year after she is born so I wil just set up a "big girl" room in the new house. I would probably do that anyway. I wouldn't want to waste money on a nursery.
We moved to DH's home town in June. Currently are not ready to purchase a home (and few to choose from!) and there is zilch to rent here. If a house is for rent, it's about run down. We ended up lucky (yep lucky) to find a 2 bedroom "apartment" which is a 4 plex and at least has it's own front door and an unattached garage and washer and dryer hook ups. The kids now share a room (yes boy and girl, they change in the bathroom or when the other is out of the room) and until something decent for rent opens that isn't also for sale and can be sold when the lease is up leaving us with zero options to rent, we stay. Baby will be in our room, which with a king bed isn't much room. We'll have to rearrange the room and I'm sure figure out how to fit a crib somehow when a crib is needed. I'll get some wall art with their name on it or a monogram of some sort (canvas with buttons?!) to put on that wall. To start, we're doing a rock n play in our room that I can move to the kids room for day naps since they don't nap anymore. A swing in the family room and my first two slept in the swing a lot starting about 1-2 months old for awhile, so I'm not in a huge rush to move my room around. I'm pretty laid back about it this time around. We'll make space and baby will have what it needs and that's all that matters.

We actually have both our home has a sitting area/nursery built into our master bedroom. Baby will be in our room but have his or her own small decorated nursery. I'd provide a picture but the space is currently full of Ebay boxes.
Both. Thankfully we will have two cribs anyway and they will likely be sleeping together for a while
My sis had twins (she was team purple) and she noticed they slept better together I guess because that's what they were use to, I think it's so adorable..
I'm sad we don't have room for a nursery, but I think we will still decorate the wall above the crib, and our bedroom is lavender so it's a nice baby color.
Cradle in our room until 5-6 months, crib once baby outgrows the cradle. The baby will share a room with DS once s/he sleeps through the night.
Same here!
We shared a room with DS until he was a year and then we slowly transition him into his room (1st at nap time, then at night!) we took plenty of time for the transition to happen and our patience has definitely paid off because now all we have to do is lay him down in his bed and say night night and goes to sleep (after some bouncing)
Right now we just have the two bedrooms so for the first year we will keep baby two in our room and then we'll go from there :-) We have a pack and play so baby 2 will sleep in that until DS1 outgrows his crib (we are going to try to keep him in his crib as long as possible)
Baby #3 will be in my room. I have cleaned off one wall in my room and will paint it as a accent wall and put up a few decorations with a crib. Next year we are moving into a house and Lo will share a room with the 2 yr old.
Both. Thankfully we will have two cribs anyway and they will likely be sleeping together for a while

My mom said my twin sis and I slept better in the same crib too

Thank you for this! Love hearing those success stories. I totally thought they would wake each other up, but I guess not?!?
This is baby #1 for us, we will be doing bedside sleeping for 3-6 months. We just moved into a house in August, so she does have a nursery in the making

We put in an offer on a house today! Hopefully we'll be moved in and have a nursery for the baby by Christmas. I figure we'll have the nursery as well as a bassinet in our room for the first couple weeks. This is our first so we'll see how it goes.
We put the bassinet in our bedroom until 6 months, then she went into her nursery. Will probably do something similar with #2. We have 3 bedrooms, so I may room in the extra one with #2 so that he/she doesn't wake DH (hopefully).

We plan to put the crib in our room for at least the first 6 months. The "baby's room" will be down the hall. We'll move the crib in there when it seems like the right time, depending on the baby's development.
We are lucky that we do have a separate nursery. I plan to have the PNP (with mattress) in our room or the spare bedroom until I start to combo bottle and BF. Then we will transition to the crib/nursery and switch off feeding shifts. I don't want to stagger like a zombie to the baby's room every few hours if I can have the baby right next to the bed for a while!
We will have baby in our room for the first 4-5 months in a cradle, but we are actually very lucky as the house we are renting has a nursery that adjoins to the master bedroom!
