My little girl is 2 months old. My DH's nephew is 6 months older than her and was the first grandchild. Of course when he was born DH's family was crazy about him. I understood that because of him being the first grandchild, but now that my baby is here it's like everyone favors him over her. It's all about "Oh look what HES doing now", "Look at him do this and that!" Even my DH seems more excited over the things his nephew does and says he can't wait until our LO can do all those things (sit up by herself, walk when holding their hands, etc), and asks when she will be able to do all those things. He even compares her size to him. He thinks our LO is getting too "chunky" because his nephew has never been chunky, he has always been long and skinny. I can just see the favoritism towards him from DHS entire family over my LO. Oh and last but not least his whole family SWEARS his nephew is an exact spitting image of my DH. They claim he looks "just like him!", which gets so annoying hearing ALL the time! Is/has anybody else experienced this? How did it make you feel? How did you handle it?

Lol. Obviously. Guess I should spend all my time on here and figure out how to do these. So who are the neglectful mothers now? Shouldn't you be feeding your baby instead?
