Scary Ultrasound Results: UPDATE

Our worst fears were confirmed. The specialists suspect Trisomy 18 or 13 which means our precious little girl will likely be stillborn or die soon after birth. We are having the Harmony test done to confirm. They say that even if our baby does not have a chromosomal problem, she may not make it - surgery and a heart transplant could be in her future.
We are heartbroken and doing the best we can to be strong. Please pray for us as we try to figure out what is going on and try to accept it. We want to show her all the love we can, even if our time with her is very short.
I will probably become scarce as we process this. Good luck to all of you and I wish you happy and healthy pregnancies.

Hi mamas,
We had our anatomy scan today and we are scared for our baby girl. They are concerned about her heart and kidneys. She may have a cleft lip/palate. There is one artery instead of two in the umbillical cord, and she is measuring a few weeks behind. We are seeing a specialist tomorrow morning. We are glad to hopefully get some answers right away but at the same time, the fact that they are squeezing us in so quickly is worrisome. Any prayers you can send up are very much appreciated.

October 2012 Metformin 1500 mg= ovulation on CD34 BFP#2 11/14/12 9DPO, EDD 7/26/13, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks, our angel born sleeping 3/24/13 @ 22wks 2d. BFP #3 7/4/13 8DPO EDD 3/22/14, DX Gestational Diabetes @14 wks. started insulin @16 wks. Our rainbow, born 3/19/14 @ 39wks 6d., we're so in love!
