I am due on 04/15 and they are suppose to call me in the next two weeks for the 2nd Level Ultrasound around the 20th week. Its seems to be normal here in California. My brother who had a baby like 1 year ago, told me that he paid like $35 buck for one that you can have the whole family go and see and that they give you the pictures on a DVD. It would be a 3D. I can't wait to find out either. I still have my worries. I'm 17 weeks, but I always have fear.
I'm due on 4/18 as well!! But I've been sticking with my original EDD of 4/11 because I have C-sections, so the baby will be here the time of my original EDD anyway.
with my last OB they scheduled my anatomy scan for the Monday of Thanksgiving week. But I've since switched doctors so I don't have one scheduled yet, although I will know on Friday at my next appt.
the thing I LOVE about my new OB is that it's a women's health doctor, they do all ultrasounds in house, which means I don't need to go to the local hospital or ultrasound clinic which are both further away from me.
I'm due 4/10 and have an anatomy scan 11/15 but don't want to know the sex. I will be 19wks 1 day. The date was chosen by the perinatal office where my doctor has patients go.
My OB office doesn't offer elective ultrasounds at all. I don't think they even do the anatomy scan unless you are high risk (when I tried to schedule mine, the other doctor in the practice and nurses seemed surprised that I was doing one, but my doc told me to because I've had some complications.)

Had our first baby, Samuel Robert, on April 17, 2014!
EDD 4/20 and it was like pulling teeth to get them to put the order in for the week of thanksgiving. I pretty much had to beg I will be 19 weeks then I don't see what the diff is doing weds the 27th as opposed to mon the 2nd On a positive note one of my good friends will be our ultrasound tech for our scan so we are super excited about that.
I'm due April 19th and I'm having my AS on December 5th! My DH and I decided to do the Panorama test and found out we were having a baby girl on October 24 (had the test done on October 10th)! I would do the elective scan if you really want to know! $100 is a lot but think what you spend money on that you don't even think about! Breakfast, lunch, dinners, shoes... All of which you can limit for a bit to spend the money on the scan!
I would have been team green if DH wasn't so .. I must know if I made a boy!!!! Haha so it's a catch 22 with me with knowing vs not!!
Married: 2012 --- BFP: 2013 - Little Miss arrived: 2014 --- BFP #2: 2015 - EDD: 2/2016 (Team Green)
I think it is just a little silly to pay extra money to find out a few weeks early... Save that money and buy something adorable for the nursery with it!
Also due on 4/18, we have our anatomy scan on Dec. 5. Waiting isn't fun but we're all waiting to meet our LO right so might as well get good at waiting patiently!
Due 4/14, a/s scheduled for 11/20. I'll be 19w2d I think? My office does them 18-22 weeks - my 20 weeks is the week of Thanksgiving, and I can only do appts on Wednesdays due to my schedule. They said they would do it at 19 weeks so the tech didn't have to be there the day before Thanksgiving - she has to travel to the other side of the country. My OB appt for that week is immediately following; the office does their own ultrasounds.
I'm due 4/11 and my anatomy scan is November 21st. The way my OB explained it is that finding out the gender is fun and all, but they are actually looking more closely at major organs, which need a couple more weeks to develop fully to ensure they can see any issues I know, it's hard to wait! But not much longer now!!
I am due 4/18 my dr would of looked at 16 weeks but the machine was broke so I have to wait til 20 weeks, I am waiting an extra week so my hubby can come so its dec. 6th
We had an unplanned ultrasound at 15 weeks for medical reasons and she said it was a boy I'm excited but I'll have more faith in it after our 20 week ultrasound!
They explained that the reason they don't do it before 20 (our policy as well) is because they are not just checking the gender, there are other things they are checking that need to be developed (spine, organs, etc). Plus unless there's an issue, insurance wants you to wait!
I am also due 4/18. Originally my dr wasn't going to due the AS until the first week of dec due to holidays and my dr being on vacation. However I asked the girls if I could do it a week early so I could go Black Friday shopping so thy said yes, lol! The big thing is if its done too early then they might not see everything clearly. That might leave you worrying for weeks until baby grows that something is wrong when baby was just too little and it costs the dr because they have to bring you in for a second US.
