Does baby ever move so much it makes you incredibly nauseous?

This might sound particularly crazy but sometimes (especially last night) the baby was literally tumbling around in there and I was so sick to my stomach for a couple hours. It was like the old days in college where I was on the couch with a garbage basket right by me! Anyone else?

Re: Does baby ever move so much it makes you incredibly nauseous?

  • Yep. Sometimes when they run their feet/hands across the side of my belly it feels like they've bonked into eachother and that feeling of resistance before it follows through turns my stomach!

  • I was just saying this to DH last night, that when LO is particularly active (more in strength than in frequency), it definitely makes me a little nauseous. It's especially bad if I just had anything to drink.

  • That is so funny, I felt that way for the first time last night.  I'm fine today but last night was out of control.

  • YES! It doesn't happen a lot, but every now and then. It's usually when I'm laying down too...
  • I've only had to rush to the bathroom once from baby motion induced nausea, and I ended up pulling it back together and not puking.

More frequently for me, baby will do a huge roll and then I'll have a bunch of stomach acid come up my throat. Thanks kid.

  • YES! LO starts to roll underneath my stomach and I feel like I am about to loose whatever I have eaten. The thing is even after he stops the feeling of nausea sticks around for a while.

  • Sometimes she moves and it grosses me out.
  • Yes and sometimes I find myself saying OW out loud b/c it is so jarring. And to think I have another 10.5 weeks left; I kind of hope the more cramped she gets the less she'll jab me.
  • Yes. It's more so when he's head down, and kicking upwards at my stomach, but sometimes he decides to do these flips in there, and they just feel, I don't know how to put it, but snake like I guess... Makes me feel nauseous every time.

  • This is such a relief because I thought I was losing my mind! I had never heard about this before. It has started to increase as he gets bigger and I do notice it more when he is doing a whole body shift. It feels like he's in the washing machine in my belly!

  • Yes! When her moves are almost violent is when I feel nauseated.
