Cough-crying?

LO has started a strange habit of late when he's fussing - he doesn't cry so much anymore as he gives these little coughs.

I've also read that increased coughing can be due to excess saliva from teething fun, but it really is more when he's fussing.

Anyone else's LO do the same thing?

Mine does/did! Dd does when she's being a faker, and DS does it because that little guy has a ridiculous amount of saliva.

I mean this kid can drool.

Yup ds does this... His way of telling me something before the real cry/fuss... Usually when he wants my undivided attention
