my husband and I have done some research on our own and are about to purchase the bugaboo frog. Does anyone on here have any experience or thoughts on the that particular stroller?
We have the bugoo frog and love it. What brand of carseat do you have though, because the bugaboo only has attachments for a few brands. We bought a Peg Perego, which the bugaboo has attachments for.
I love how versatile it was. When going out to the mall, or anywhere indoors for an extended amount of time, especially when DS was new, the bassinet was great, he could cuddle up on his back or side instead of being strapped into the carseat, which was great. Comes with conversion for bassinet or traditional seat, which I really liked. Hard to find a stroller where child can lay supine.
If I could go back, I would definitely still by this stroller, but some of the downsides are that the wheels have a very large base, sometimes hard for maneouvering around. You can only put an 8-pound diaper bag on the handlebars (and trust me from experience, my stroller capsized with poor DS in it), they really mean it when they say 8 pounds, which really isn't a lot of weight when it comes to a diaper bag. There isn't a lot of storage, even with the piece attached underneath. However, if your stuff is light, it can go in the foot of the bassinett when your child is little.
Doesn't come with a cup holder or bag hooks, which are an added expense. Wish I had bought right away, but maybe will get for Christmas.
Great in the snow, just reverse the handlebar (easy to do) to put the big wheels in the front. Very easy to take apart and lies very flat in trunk, great for my teenie, tiny car! And because the base separates, it really is lightweight.
thanks that was really helpful. we have a peg perego too and ordered the attachments for it. we did end up getting the bugaboo frog so hopefully i'll figure something out as far as storage.

I give it a 9/10.
