Welcome to the October Precious Pumpkins Check-In! Check-Ins every Monday and Thursday.

Twinkie asked to have someone take over the check in since her c/p. As this is the first time I'm doing this I have not had a chance to update everyone, just a copy/paste from last Thursday's. I will try to have everything updated by Thursday's check in. Thanks for being patient and understanding and apologies to anyone whom I have in the wrong place currently.

I had my ET today, so we are officially PUPO! Beta is 2 weeks from today. We transferred one beautiful little blast.

QOTD - no way! I try to finish Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving, so I can sleep in on Black Friday...

I'm still in the 2ww. My anxiety level is extremely high. So far I've resisted taking an HPT. I'm 6dp5dt. I was supposed to have a blood test this Fri., but I asked if I could come in on Thurs. instead and they said that was fine. I'm seriously a nervous wreck.

QOTD: No Black Friday shopping for me! Too stressful.

Hi to everyone and lots of hugs to all that need them, specially thinking of Twinkie0613 and geordie314 today.
Today I am 7dp5dt and 48h away from beta. I have resisted the urge to test and I'm holding on strong to hope that my two lil embies are strong, beautiful and healthy.
QOTW: I never have Black Friday off big day in the vet world so that means I can only do cyber Monday

My heart goes out to those who are struggling - take care.

I am only 3dp3dt but it feels like a year, lol. I still have to wait 8 days until the blood test (we don't call it betas here). Today was the likely day my 2 little embryos could have implanted, so I'm being as positive as possible!

QOTW: I live in Canada and we don't have 'Black Friday' here. There are some businesses here that try to imitate the sales. but it's never as nuts as what I've seen on TV in the US. Kudos to those who have the guts (and the energy!) to get up early and fight the crowds!

My first beta today came in at 297. Its Just been an emotional day...i'm so happy right now. Praying for great results on Friday also

First beta tomorrow. FRER is positive so hoping for great numbers tomorrow. T and P for all in this process. Qotd I do go out on Black Friday but not early. When you don't need kid stuff or electronics it isn't worth it. When the early birds are worn out I will grab their parking space and brave the sales.

First beta today came in at 271 (10dp5dt). It's a good deal higher than either of my first betas from my previous pregnancies. It doesn't exactly make me feel confident but it does make me happy!

@missusw218 ~ Yay on being PUPO! Hope the 2WW goes by quickly for you.
@walker14 ~ So sorry to hear you're having a lot of anxiety. I'm a very anxious person and have had a lot of anxiety throughout IVF. Have you tried listening to Circle + Bloom? Some other ideas are listening to relaxing/calming music, doing yoga, meditation, deep breathing. You could also try going to a counselor who specializes in anxiety. Hope you're able to relax soon and that your anxiety calms down. I know how much anxiety sucks. Hope your beta on Thursday comes back great!

As for me I'm still waiting for AF after our cancelled cycle. Don't know what's taking so long. Hopefully we will have a plan for FET 1.2 tomorrow.
QOTD: I work on BF so no shopping for me. I get all the people coming in to paint who don't want to shop but need to get out of the house.

@twinkie0612 and @geordie314 - ((((huge hugs)))) I am so, so sorry girls.

AFM: Things are going really well. We had our ultrasound on Friday and it showed two happy little heartbeats flickering away. I have been battling morning sickness (aka all day feeling like death sickness) but the sore boobs are starting to go away and we got cleared for sex again (after six long, long weeks! Woohoo!). Next appt is Monday and hopefully we can hear/measure the heartbeats. I am praying for the best for all our Pumpkins. I'm excited so many are in the 2WW, I can't wait to see all the new incoming BFPs! The recent losses break my heart and I pray for peace for those experiencing struggle, and hope that next cycle will bring their rainbow babies ((hugs)).

QOTD: I hate shopping with a passion. And yet I strangely love online Black Friday shopping. It makes my heart race and I get way too into it, lol. This year we drastically have to cut back the shopping, so I'm not sure what I'll do. Probably keep the laptop away from me that night!

@katib77 thank you for posting the check in yesterday. I was going to post it yesterday morning, but the day did not go as well as I planned.

I was doing really well yesterday morning and made it through my blood draw and started my day at work. Then I get a phone call from DH, he was really upset and ended up leaving work. He had been so hopeful all weekend and I think it finally started to hit him when the HPT was negative yesterday morning. The final straw was when he had to "untell" his boss and his boss got emotional.

I ended up leaving work early too and we just hung out around our house. It was nice to be at home when I got the call with our beta results, even though I already knew that it wasn't good news.

Some of you may remember my vent last week about my sister. I ended up having my mom tell her that we had a chemical pregnancy because I was afraid that she would make a negative or hurtful comment. She surprised me and stopped by my house and put a pregnancy loss awareness pin in my mailbox (She is really active with her pregnancy loss/miscarriage support group, so I am guessing that is where the pin came from). It was a sweet gesture and makes me feel like maybe we will be able to get back to where our relationship was.

I also want to thank everyone for their support the last few days. The amount of love, thoughts, prayers, and good wishes I received was overwhelming. It really does help to have the support of women that understand what I am going through, as I really don't know anyone IRL that has been through IF treatments and know only a few women who have had a m/c.

Right now I am in a much better place emotionally than I was the last few days. I have my WTF appointment scheduled for Thursday and DH is already planning IVF #3 in January.

Thanks again for all of the love. I have my FX for everyone.

Twinkie, I just cried when I read about your sister dropping the pin off. I hope things continue to improve. I hate that this happened to you. I'm glad you're planning your next IVF, I want this so badly for you. Also, I think it's so important that you and your H took some time off together. I wish you so much peace and healing.

Good morning all.

Today is a stressful day in my world. I had my first u/s this morning. The tech was very quiet. I learned early on not to ask him too many questions. He told me when we were done that there would be someone in the next room to discuss this all with me. Obviously that made a red flag go up in my mind.

When the doctor came in, she told me that they couldn't find the baby. I have fibroids in my uterus so it is possible that the fibroids are covering up what we want to see. Although my betas have been good, my doctor didn't seem too optimistic. She is the one I like the least at my clinic as it is. They took another vial of blood and now I am anxiously waiting for a call. I did stop at Target on the way to work and took a Clear Blue Easy. It showed positive right away, so I'm trying to be hopeful. I have had no bleeding and very little cramping since my first positive beta. If the blood tests come back with good numbers today, they will repeat the ultrasound on Thursday. If not, I guess it is a hurry up and wait game.

I'm feeling very down and discouraged at the moment. Thanks all for listening/reading.

I feel so happy for those of you who've been receiving great news and so sad at the same time for those of you dealing with this h#**. I'm not usually an emotional person, but I find that this process has made it hard to know what "usual" for me is anymore. I'm sending love your way.

QOTD: I love Black Friday shopping and traditionally do it with my mother each year. We have a lot of fun.
