Bras bras bras

Has anyone else caved in and gotten a new bra?? I'm headed out today because I can't take it being stuffed in my current bras anymore that I'm in sports bras but they don't offer proper support.

They'll get bigger.  Buy one in each size until after your milk has come in, then go and buy a couple in whatever size you need.  I just got out my maternity tub of clothes and holy crap the bras I bought last time!  I thought, each and every time, that I was done.  I started out a 32A, at my largest was a 40DD, and then settled at a 36D while I was pumping.  They shrank back down soon after I weaned.  It's amazing how they can grow and stretch as needed.

ETA: You can also buy bra extenders if the issue is band size and not cup size.  Those were awesome as my ribs spread.

    CHC arrived 6/2/14

  • I already needed a new bra and wanted good support because I know the girls are only going to get bigger. The newest bra at Victoria's Secret is amazing and so worth the purchase. The widest band they have, super smooth and the girls are pretty in it!

  • I got these like newly pregnant lady bras from Target and my boobs have grown so much that now they pop out the bottom. I'm dying because underwires are bugging me (and I've read that they're bad for preggo and breast feeding boobs) and now this sports bra thing is not cutting it.

I'm gonna tough it out for a few more weeks then look into maternity/nursing bras.

My bras aren't going to last much longer. I'm so uncomfortable. And I had DD's to start with. Ugggg. I don't want to buy new bras.

  • I just bought a cheap bra a  bandwidth up from my normal size. My cup size hasn't really increased but my band size has gone up a full size.   I couldn't take it anymore, it just hurt.  I also bought a new sports bra up a size because I was running into the same problem when I worked out.

2nd BFP 9/20/13, EDD 6/1/14 -- hoping for our sticky baby!

  • I have one comfy bra that's on the verge of not being comfy anymore. I'm just going to buy some cheap bras since I know my boobs will get bigger.
  • I just bought a bra, one cup size up, that's a tiny bit roomy. I didn't know what else to do. My boobs are just popping out.

Next I have to figure out what to do about pants.

  • Target has these "smart bras" which are like sports bras but the straps are convertible (staples, razor back, one shoulder, etc). They come in 2 packs for $17 bucks. I bought two packs for now and figured I could go bigger when I get bigger but they have been a life saver! So comfy. As someone who has been an A 1/2 ;) her whole life, I don't really know how to handle my new girls. Good luck!
  • I got a pack for cheap at Gordmans and walmart so I could be comfy until my boobs start popping out of those.  I think I bought 4 different sizes last time before I started shrinking back after breastfeedng was over.

  • Try Bare Necessities online... They have EVERY size and brand you can imagine. They can be pricey, but I will pay good money to have well supported bubbies! I'm a 32 EE now... I'm scared to see where I am in June! (Though I'm sure my DH will love it) :)

  • I broke down and bought some bras on clearance at Target. Both nursing bras, thank god for thick straps. I'm already large and I grew out of my biggest so I bumped up a cup size hopefully I don't get too much bigger!!

Are you a larger size? I'm asking because I started as a DD and am spilling out of my bra, but am not sure whether to hold out or just cave into nursing bras.
