  • Nope, 16 weeks also and nothing. Not too worried though.

  • I had felt something last Saturday after I bent over but nothing since :)
  • I think so! FTM here and 17 weeks I feel rumbles across my entire stomach. It's not consistent tho. I've felt it a couple mornings in a row but now nothing. I've been pushing on my belly to make baby mad but nothing! Lol. I know it's to early to feel anything on a regular basis!

  • General movement tip for the FTM's: the baby tends to be most active when you are not. Your movements rock them in there and kind of put them to sleep. If you want to try and feel movement drink a little OJ and then lay down, or just sit down, and relax. Sometimes that helps.

    Thanks!!

  • I have, starting last week. FTM so I'm not 100% sure it's not dinner coming back to haunt me but it's pretty consistent day to day and it's mostly in the same spot low and to the right. Feels like little bumps, they come in clusters when I'm resting on the couch or the bed.

  • I started feeling him move at 17 weeks.

  • 16 weeks is the early end of when you could start feeling movement as a FTM. You're more likely to feel it when you're lying down and after something caffeinated or sugary. And it won't be kicks like you'd expect, you'll feel like flutters and bubble-like pop movements first and question whether or not it was gas.

    I do, daily since 15 w 2 d, but it`s not my first pregnancy.
Last time I felt my first real kick at 17 weeks exactly.
I have posterior placenta now..and then.
You usually start feeling later if it`s anterior placenta.

*sorry for grammar mistakes, I learned english pretty much by myself.

  • With my first I was 17 + wks and I think that was considered a little early.

  • I am 17 weeks and I have not felt movement yet. I am not surprised though because I have an anterior placenta again. :(

  • I'm definitely feeling something deep down there (feels like pops and flutters) BUT everything I'm feeling could also easily be gas, so I'm just writing it off as gas. I figure someday I'll feel something that DOESN'T feel like gas and I'll know it's baby :)

  • Possibly I have, but I am a STM. I still wouldn't bet money on it but I do feel like I'm gradually having more little movements when lying/sitting down that I can't immediately associate with gas. :))

I want this so bad right now. I need to be occupied with life with the crap going on . I would give anything to feel this. Going to get OJ now!

  • I know it usually feels like bubbles or flutters, but I've been having a general pressure feeling. I can feel it when my legs are curled up and I had something to eat. It's like a little spot where I feel some pressure and then it kind of moves a bit.. it's hard to describe. Could this be baby?

This is my 4th. My others I swear I felt early. I'm 14w 5d and I think...I'm feeling it move a little now. But like other posters said, you'll most likely feel the baby move when you're sitting or laying down. When you're up and moving the motion pretty much rocks the baby to sleep.

  • Yes! Two days ago it got much harder, and my husband got to feel her yesterday for the first time. It's so amazing! I'm 18w3d w/#1
  • 16w2d w/#1.   I have not felt anything yet.  :(  Is it true that women with low BMI are able to feel the baby move earlier then someone with a little extra "fluff?"
  • My husband felt from the outside yesterday. I was 18 days exactly.
  • 17 weeks tomorrow, and no movement.  I am not anticipating any for another couple weeks.

  • I'm 18 weeks and my son is kicking like crazy!! I'm a STM as well... I don't remember when I started to feel my first on kick
  • I'm 18w5d, but she's measuring 3 days ahead. I do feel move, but it is not consistent. It's mostly when I lie down. Just a faint popping feeling.
  • Im 19 weeks on Tuesday and I just felt the baby move! So weird/cool! I was laying on my back and I pushed on my (lopsided belly) and felt a "bump" just a little bit lower, like he/she was saying "stop it" so of course I did it again and it happened again! Deffinently not gass this time. I almost started cry-laughing, I'm in wonder at this little miricle inside me right now.
  • I've been feeling my son a lot this past week, I'm 18 weeks and a STM. My first son I never felt a lot, later he would move around but he was pretty relaxed and slept a lot. That is still his personality, he's a very calm kid and an amazing sleeper
  • I think I started feeling around 16 weeks but this is my third. I was expecting sooner but I have an anterior placenta so I guess that is why it took so long. With my first it was between 17 and 18 weeks and with my 2nd it was between 15 and 16 weeks.

  • This is my 2nd baby with my first I didn't start feeling movement until almost 22 weeks I had an anterior placenta didn't feel much till the last 2 months of the pregnancy. This time around I have felt movement since 19 weeks inconsistent though.
  • Just flutters every now and then. No kicks yet. I am (16w 3 days)

I started feeling movement at the end of week 16, so for just over a week now.  I feel it the most in the evenings after a meal and lying quietly on the couch.  It never felt like flutters to me though... mostly pokes or pops.  Sometimes they are surprisingly strong.

  • I'm 18w3d, I've been feeling tiny goldfish flutters for about a week. Usually it is most noticeable when I lie down or sit quietly.
  • I am almost 19 wks and been feeling him on and off for 2 weeks but now when i lay down i feel him kick a lot!! Hubby even felt him today!!
  • I'm 17 weeks now and I think I felt some fairly strong movement for the last few nights. We watch a movie before bed almost every night, so I lay still for a while and I have felt the same movement two nights in a row.

At my last OB appointment they said it was fine if I didn't feel anything until closer to 20 - 22 weeks. However, they said I might feel the baby earlier because I am a very small person. I wouldn't worry at all unless my OB was concerned! :)
