Which is better mid wife or doc?

This is baby number 3 for me and my past pregnacies I've had a doctor and now I'm kind of curious is mid wife's are better?

    Doctor...while I have gone the all natural route for my last 3 pregnancies I always feel safer knowing I am with a doctor.  Midwives are great...but if you are confident and strong and want a natural childbirth...a doctor is the SAFEST way to go!
