My DH has always been amazing and i love how these last few months he has upped the notch in protectiveness towards me and the babe. He works full time and is working on his masters degree too part time and he is so busy yet he helps out with cooking raw meats (gag) , does the stinky dishes and garbage that I can't handle anymore! He also rubs my back , tells me how beautiful I am when he can tell I'm being down on myself and let's me rest and sleep whenever I tell him I need it (even if that means we need to go home early). One of my favourite things though is when he kisses me, tells me how much he loves me and then proceeds to kiss my belly so bsby knows too that it's so loved (swoon) The list could go on but I'm gonna keep this one forever and then some, he's such an amazing man and I'm blessed beyond belief to have him
Glad to hear other amazing stories from good men on this board too
Great post! My DH is also amazing. He has always been patient and kind and super loving and now isth LO on the way he is extra protective and never asks twice about soon anything and is always insisting I take a nap or rest and let him do everything. He is just so amazing! We rarely get into snippets and less so since the BFP since actually a lot of stress went down since that was also when our wedding was. He is such a rock and an amazing man and I am so grateful every day that he is my husband and we found each other!
DH was home for 35 days after having surgery that kept him from work. I didn't have to do 1 dish or change poop diapers the entire time. I also only got about 5 pee diapers. He also tells me I'm beautiful all the time, even more when I'm making his babies. And he tucks me in every night. I've caught a good fish!
My hubby has been amazing! He really changes after our first u/s. Wants me to nap during the day, will pick up extra chores so I have time to. He's great at cooking, cleaning and amazing foot rubs I found a keeper. Starting a hypno birthing class too!
My hubby has been great... He has done more than his share of the house work and been able to somehow make me laugh after losing a meal in the bathroom. When we go out w friends he always comes over to check on me and get me fresh water. He even surprised me w flowers the other day bc I was upset that I had to go home early from school. Even when I get weepy that I dont like not being ablekto pull my weight he just laughs and tells me he couldn't imagine how I feel... I think I finally have him trained
I love this positive thread! My hubby's been nothing short of heroic. I've been so sick, and he takes care of everything - picking DD up from school, doing crafts and playing with her, cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, holding my hair and rubbing my back while I'm sick. I don't know what I'd do without him!
My husband tells me that I am beautiful every single day. And he went duck hunting and he cleaned his own duck because he knew it would make me vom if I saw it. That's love
I was away all weekend and my heart just melts to see so many fantastic posts ^____^ Thank you for sharing everyone, it's funny how hearing sweet wonderful supportive stories even from strangers can add an extra bound in your own step!
Mine has been taking on many of "my chores" including going to the grocery with me each week because I'm always so tired. He also rubbed my neck for a long time today because it was so sore, it was giving me a headache.
My DH is so sweet and although he's always really thoughtful and just the best ever, he's been even MORE so since I've been pregnant.
He cooks, cleans, does the laundry (although I help as much as possible if I'm feeling well, which has been more often now that I'm 13 weeks). He also gives me foot rubs, back rubs and head rubs almost every day.
