I am hoping to do it. My LO is due in May, which will make it 14 months between c-sections. I talked to my doctor on Friday and she is open to letting me try VBAC if I go into labor on my own. I'm happy for the possibility!

Due August 2018
I would have had a vbac 17 months after my csection.p, but I lost the baby. My ob was still fully supportive of my wish to vbac. He had given me no time restraints between pregnancies.
The group of doctors I go to initially tried to say oh you have to have a c/s but after more talking and being a nurse they said they all apparently met and discussed it and decided that they were okay with me trying as long as I go into labor on my own and by my due date, but they never seemed really concerned with the fact it was less than 18 months....where I live VBAC is not the norm so that is why I think I really had to voice how I felt to get all the doctors to take me seriously. From the research I have done there is not much literature that says being less than 18 months post c/s puts us at greater risk for UR. the problem I think is more there are just not many studies out there about UR in less than 18 months post c/s. Before you talk to your doc make sure to do some reading up on it and stick to how you feel....I am hoping for a vbac and will do everything I can to help my chances but no that in the end it is in God's hands
Yeah I have been researching a lot! I was really pushed around with my first delivery. I trusted them...but then afterwards I thought about it and my csection was preventable. Thanks for the info! I will def. take your advice!

. Thank you. I appreciate that. I have since vbaced, and my deliveries were only 21 months apart.
I will try for a vbac in January, 12 months after my C/S
