Baby Names

Gah! Baby girls due in three days and no names yet!

Hello ladies. :) Thinking about the names Lydia and Lily, Hayden and Haven, Nicole and Natalie, and Emilie and Erin. Tell me what you think in the comments. Thanks.

  • I like Lydia and Natalie. Are you expecting twins? Most of your pairs are too similar for twins for me...when I try and say them together quickly I start tripping over the names. Lilya and Lidy instead of Lydia and Lily, etc. Hayden and Haven sound almost identical and are way too close for sibs imo. If you are set on the pairs I would do Erin and Emilie since they are the least similar to me.

All of this. I really like Lydia and Natalie together!

  • Is there a reason why they are so matchy? That's definitely nms, I think that makes twins sound like a set rather than two individual people. If you mix it up a little, I like Haven and Lily as well as Nicole and Lydia.

I love Hayden!!! DH wouldn't go for it :(

Erin is very sweet too, and I never hear it anymore! Natalie is nice too.

Please not another Emilie. Lily is pretty popular too.

Lydia, Nicole, Haven don't do anything for me.

  • I LOVE the names Lydia and Lily, but as a mother to a Lily who used to pronounce her name as "Lydie" when she first started talking, I can say that you'll likely get them mixed up when talking to them.

My favorites of your list are Lydia, Lily, Nicole, and Natalie. I'd go with two of those. Lily and Nicole, Lily and Natalie, Lydia and Nicole, Lydia and Natalie, etc. If you really want to do the same-initial thing, then Natalie and Nicole.
