I'm a vintage clothing dealer, so my days vary between our shop, warehouse and searching for product. I like the hunt best, but being on my feet all day will get old soon, I imagine.
I'm an Event Planning Manager for a large hotel company. I handle small meetings and room blocks for 35 select service and extended stay hotels. I work from home most of the time, but do have to go into Regional Group Sales Office about twice a month.
I really really want to be a SAHM - not that I don't love my job, I just know there will be things I want to do that I can't if I work. Simply put, there just aren't enough hours in the day. That being said, I am a Civil Engineer by degree, but currently an analyst for a large utility company.
I'm an analyst at a giant media research firm. I'll probably be laid off in the next four weeks though. Totally freaking out because I haven't been on an interview in almost 15 years. Plus, who is going to hire a pregnant girl?!
About to transition from active duty navy to reservist. I'll be going to school full time and doing some free lane portrait photography (I am a photojournalist in the Navy) just to make some extra cash. Hopefully we'll be able to avoid full time child care for awhile!
I'm a friendly family pharmacist. I work at an independent pharmacy. It's a great job, but I wish more than anything I could be a SAHM. I just worry about all the things I'll be missing while I'm working and someone else is taking care of LO. I'm thinking seriously about just going to 3 days a week, don't know if it will ever work out though.
I am a manager of a large retail store but recently started a relationship marketing business that I'm very hopeful will allow me to stay home with the LO without losing my FT income!
I'm a social worker- so I do a little of everything but mainly I work on independent living skills with adults with brain injuries in a group home setting
Was a commercial interior designer for 8 yrs; quit 2 months ago for a lower stress lifestyle (to prepare for kids) and then found out I was pregnant! Currently working in a residential furniture showroom doing sales and home design visits. Will do part time after baby is born and then maybe start my own residential firm.
May the Fourth Be With You: Our 5-4-14 Baby: Andrew Joseph
I do B2B sales of SaaS services to large companies for a Silicon Valley giant. I love my job. Mostly I work in the office but I also travel for work, work from home and I have to give a lot of speeches and do seminars at events.
I am a Neonatal ICU RN. Have to remind myself a lot that most babies are born ok...
@MndyJnn I totally know what you mean!!! I'm a labor and delivery RNC:) i have worked it for the last 7.5 years. some days it's all I can do just to get through a shift and remind myself that it probably won't happen to me!
