Today sucks.

This morning we got the call that my H's grandma passed away. I am so grateful he went to see her one last time on Wednesday. He held her hand and talked to her and cried and while she was unable to talk or even really look at him, she did squeeze his hand. He'll never regret going.
My sister just came over and told me she's moving (with her H and my nephew who is 6mo younger than Emery) in 5 weeks to Vancouver WA. I'm so sad about it, so, so sad.

I'm sorry about your sister and her family moving away. While it doesn't replace together time, with Skype and face time you can 'see' each other every day.

@baker_bride, I wondered what your take would be on the sister thing since you've lived it, only the opposite of me. The thing that makes it the hardest is that I have waited so long for her to have kids..and then she did and our little ones are so close. I always compare Emery and Elliot to Joaquin and Avalin and was so glad Emery would have him since he's our last and so much younger than our older two. I'll get used to the idea, but it stings right now. Sads. I do have two other sisters here but they are both single and kidless.
