Poll - Moving LO to own room

Re: Poll - Moving LO to own room

  • When we are all ready. Me, MH and LO sleep great in bed together. There's no reason for her to sleep in her own room yet. I really want to enjoy every last bit of her cute smallness now, though. I can't imagine not waking up next to her.

  • SS - we only have one bedroom and will likely be that way til she's at least 9 months. If we had another room, we'd probably move her by 6 months...as long as her crib would fit in our room. Luckily we have a really big bedroom right now and we all fit.
  • Probably between 4 and 5 months.
  • I voted 4th-5th, but it may be sooner.  He'll be 3 months next week and currently sleeps for a 5-7 hour stretch followed by a feeding and another 2-3 hour nap.  Once that first stretch is consistently closer to 7-8 hours, he'll be moving into his own room.

  • We just moved DS, bc when the older kids get up in the am they woke up DS too. So, we would move him at his 5am feeding and then when he first went to bed for the night as then his middle of the night two feedings.

We live in a 2 bedroom home. DS will move to his own room when when we buy a new house. Hoping that will be sometime in the next 3-6 months! I don't want to put him in the same room with DD because she is a great sleeper and I don't want to mess with it.
