Did anybody play any good games at your baby showers? The one I'm throwing for my pregnant teen cousin is this weekend and I need something cheap!

I'm not a big fan of games, period. I just want to do a birthday calendar and diaper message station and call it a day. That's a good one too. Thanks!

Something that was done at my bridal shower that could easily be a baby shower game as well...hand out cards to everyone where they can write a piece or advice for the new mom. Collect them and place them in a photo album or scrap book.

This one is a little risqué, but it was totally hilarious at a shower I went to recently:

As the mom to be is opening gifts someone writes down her reactions ("oh, its so tiny!" "oh wow, I've never seen anything like that!" etc) without her knowing what they are doing. Then, after all the gifts, the list is read off as "what the mom to be said to her man the night baby was created". It sounds dumb and cheesy but we were all dying. It probably depends on the people attending though. That wouldn't fly at some showers I have been to.

This will be happening at a friend's shower next year, but definitely won't work with my grandmother at this one. Haha.

The Price is Right!
Buy little general items (pacifiers, diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, etc.) and as people arrive, have them write their guess at the actual price down. Then, later when things get slow, reveal the answers game show style! Whoever gets the most right (closest without going over) wins a prize and mom-to-be gets to keep the loot.
