I bought a few onsies, created a registry and we have a name picked out. That's about it. We have to clear out the guest room and paint still. Plus DH has to put a new floor in and paint what will become the new guest room. We are about to go on vacation then Thanksgiving will be here so November is basically a wash for me. I'm hopeful we'll be able to get most stuff done in December. I feel like I'm ok for now but I guarantee freak out mode will ensue sometime in January!
It still doesn't feel that close for me (but I'm due end of March and haven't hit the halfway point yet - and that extra few weeks feeds my procrastinator side). We had the name picked out before we even got pregnant, so that was the easiest part, but I've only bought random clothes while I was on vacation earlier this month and had outlets at my disposal. I haven't bought anything else yet, and I wouldn't have started the registry if it weren't for the bonus they're offering at BRU till the 15th. Thanks to this thread though, I did get the pediatrician set up
I know! Time needs to slow down just a little bit. I feel like a POAS yesterday.
I only did that a little over 2 months ago.
DH and I were talking about the fact that I still might not have known yet except for the fact that HE decided to buy a test. It hadn't crossed our minds that I could be pregnant. I didn't know until I was 2 months pregnant.
Until a couple days ago I'd say I would have had no clue. No weight gain, and didn't feel any movement until a couple days ago. But if I hadn't known I was pregnant, I would have convinced myself that I had gas or an upset stomach.
Oh, and I have DS's clothes sorted because I did that when I packed then up as he outgrew them. But I'm team green, so we may buy something more feminine if we have a girl.
Omg totally agree!!!! Especially with holidays now! Time is flying by way too quickly. I feel like I'm so behind. Haven't even started on my nursery yet.

have held my babies on my lap and tell them
about You, but since I didn't get the chance,
would You please hold them on Your lap
and tell them about me?

Wow! Very exciting! I need to get my shit together lol
You and me both chica, I havnt done squat... Having hg sucks . Also, hard to get much done with an almost 5 & 8 year old kiddos that want all mammas attention right now between throwing up all day and kiddo duties..
I really REALLY NEED TO GET MY CRAP TOGETHER.
bought one pair of pjs so far and that's the extent of it. No names no nothing....
Worlds best mom right here...lol
I've got lots of hand me downs from DS that are neutral, a friend who is fairly certain she is having a boy so wants to swap my boys stuff for her girls stuff, a cot (but I have to get it back from a friend) a cradle I can borrow, a pusher and carseat travel system on lay buy, and I bought a rocker recliner off eBay that we need to pick up. I've also bought a random selection of clothes. BUT- I cleaned out the study a week or so ago but then filled it up with random other stuff from around the house with the idea of sorting through it. oh and I've ordered new linen and towels for the baby and I have a swing and a bath and two playgyms. Maybe ill sort out the study/nursery this wknd? It's very unusual for me not to be the most disorganised!!! Must me my advanced maternal age!!!! But I have a feeling it is going to go quick- Im a teacher so have to write school reports, finish work on the 20/12 then Christmas, New Years, then DSs bday in January DS starts school at the end of jan, then BABY will be here end of feb!!!! *scurries off to start sorting crap out in study*
I'm so excited I can't even type! So far we have the crib and bassinet. I really want to at least get the dresser and glider by Jan 1st. I go back to school mid January so I won't have a lot of time to put into baby's room then. I should probably get on the childbirth/nursing classes and pediatrician as well.
Holy moly! I'm so excited by how far along we are! I am ready for this babe to be born. We've gotten nothing ready so far but I won't panic until after January.
Re: YOU GUYS!
We have nothing done
Better quit my job and get to work
(Hah if that was only possible)
