Fantasy Football Whining Thread

No smack talk this week (at least from me).

Going into Monday night I need 10.3 points and I have 2 receivers playing in the game.  I have a chance to knock off the mighty Peyton Manning juggernaut.

I lost.  I fell short by 0.6 points.  I've scored the 3rd most points in the league and I'm sitting at 2-5.  This is a frustrating fantasy football Tuesday.

    I'm 1-6 and my team is terrible. Oh, and pretty much all on bye this week.

    I got creamed by Hurricane Sandy and now I am going up against another power house.  I still like my team since it is mainly built around my favorite teams.

    Frankly, with it being an auction league, it allowed for a strategy that can allow first timers a stronger chance to jump in and do well early.... you went in, grabbed big name talent (i.e. Peyton) and it has more or less paid off for you.  You did make some nice, or lucky, depending on how you want to look at it, cheap pick ups.

    Remember when I picked up a RB to fill in for one of my injured guys, then didn't remember to put him on my starting roster?

    I'm actually still in my match if StL surprises tonight against Sea. But if I lose by 9 points or less I'll be pissed at myself.

    You essentially need Golden Tate and the receivers to go off (minus the TE) but keep Lynch and the TE under control.

    I WON!!!!

    Low Scoring game, Russell Wilson did ok, Lynch did almost nothing, and the Seattle Defense didn't do enough damage to carry the day. Nice 7 point win :)

    Gonna make sure my roster is full of healthy dudes this next week.

    I need to find an actual quarterback, not just a guy who runs a lot. Fucking RG3 ruined me this week.

    So to the person who has Andy Dalton, I will send you booze if you trade him to me. KTHX.

    4-4 after losing to a guy with a 1-6 record and not scoring close to 100 total for the week.  League is set so the guy I was playing was able to reset his roster after the Sunday games started. At noon he still had Luck in as QB and Houston's D...both on bye weeks.  All of a sudden I go look and he has replaced those slots at like 1:30 Sunday afternoon.  Complete bull!!

    Injuries continue to kill my roster as well.

    I currently have Rivers, Wilson and Ryan. I really don't need to carry all three, but the guy I was least excited about going in (Rivers) is giving me the most points and Ryan has been a mild disappointment. Let me know if you want to trade for any of those guys; I can definitely use help at RB and WR.

    You got lucky. I was predicted to win the entire time and you just got lucky :P
    I'm not denying I got lucky, considering I didn't switch out one of my injured RBs, I "deserved" to lose. Oh, I got 25 points from the Bengals defense, which was a waiver wire pickup filing in for my bye week Bears.
