DH woke me extra earlier to complain about his cold. I wasn't able to go back to sleep after that, so my temp is trashed and I'm tired.

It's earlier, but I'm sure I'll have more to add later in the day.

1) Housing and maintenance people -- You are the best we've ever had, really. Prompt, polite, and you generally get shit done. However, I want my fridge fixed today. This saga has been going off-and-on since June and at this point the next part better fix it or get me a new one. It started acting funny Saturday evening, so the guy came and put a new motor in it, which it probably needed. It ran for a while, but not long enough to get everything really cold, or frozen solid in the freezer, and went off again. Called again Sunday morning. He came, said it might be the thermostat and he would try to get the part this morning when he got in. And that the fridge should run all day yesterday. It went off last night and I just didn't have the heart to call him back at 10pm, and it didn't kick on last night but I was able to get it started this morning and it doesn't look like anything spoiled--yet.

I want it fixed today. Or I want to know where I can find something temporary so I'm not freaking out that I'm going to lose my perishables every time it stops running. I didn't sleep well because I was worried about waking up and finding my whole freezer defrosted and dripping onto the floor. Cannot do that again.

2) H, I love and support you. I know you have a few pounds you want to lose, and that's why I make healthy meals and try to keep mostly healthy snacks on hand. But just not eating but also not going to the gym is only going to wreck your metabolism and you're not going to lose weight. If you want faster results, start going to the gym twice a day again and really working at it. And don't do exercises that strain your shoulder if it hurts. And if it hurts that bad, go see the doctor. And if you're worried the doc is going to tell you to lose weight, maybe eat the healthy food and go to the gym. It's a vicious circle, but you have to do something, because hearing you get upset about your weight every damn morning is not a good way to start the day and it puts you in a horrible mood to start work.

While I have simmered down over the weekend, I'm really pissed at my RE's office. They were so on top of monitoring early on, yet somehow when I was in on Friday, they said I hadn't actually O'd the week before like they said, I had actually (maybe) just O'd. So after all the poking and prodding all cycle long, you missed identifying O and this cycle is now a bust. Our worst cycle in 16 months is while I'm taking fertility meds and being monitored - awesome.

My sister lives 3 hours from me and we see each other every 2 months or so. Every time I go to her place, we do whatever she feels like and we end up following her regular schedule. But when she comes to my place, we do what she really wants to.

There's a party at my friend's on Friday, but my sister just doesn't want to go. So of course we won't go.

Did I mention that it is my freaking birthday this week-end? Ugh.

I think I've bitched about this for the past 3 Monday's.. but our damn house still hasn't sold. Can you please just sell dammit so we can move on with our lives?!?!?! We've already relocated 3.5 hours away and I HATE that I still have to maintain my old house and live in a shitty ass rental till it sells.

AND - there is my dream house for sale here, that is in our budget that I am just waiting to buy.

With our work policy, 3 unexcused absences in 3 months may mean you'll get a 'talking to'. Since 4/28, I've had 5, if I leave today it'll be 6. That's no good.

However, they counted 6/5 and 6/6 as separate absences, and per the policy, since it's consecutive, it should be counted as one unexcused absence. And that was the day I found out I was having an m/c and I was too upset to work and left. You really counted that against me? Ugh.

Seriously, I feel awful.

I'm fucking exhausted. I've been sleeping like shit lately because my anxiety has been out of control. I was looking forward to sleeping in yesterday. Instead I got the shittiest 4 hours of frequently interrupted sleep ever. Eff you H, your snoring, being up stupid late & your little dog too! I'm tired & cranky.

My ovaries are currently on my shit list. Last week at my monitoring appointment I had 3 follies maturing while I was on BCP. So that delayed the start of injectables. This morning I had a new baseline appointment and I had a cyst in one ovary.

Also my washing machine sucks. The door lock broke last week and we have yet to find time to get to the parts store to get the part because they are only open 8-5 during the week and we were away this weekend.

It's 50 degrees out and the AC at work is on high... again. I'm freezing... and my space heater broke. TURN THE AC OFF!!! Or turn the heat on. I sent them the policy of not turning the heat on until 3 consecutive days of below 65 degree... along with weather.com snapshot of last week meeting this requirement.

I shouldn't have to go to the bathroom to warm my fingers up in the sink.

One more thing to bitch about. Last week some TV station out of Los Angeles reported that there's a new law in PA that prohibits touching a pregnant woman's belly. There's no such "new" law. There's a court case about some dumbass harassing a pregnant woman to touch her belly so he's being prosecuted under the existing harassment law. All these other out of state news outlets are picking up this story and running with it. The one news station in PA that reported on it was actually reporting on the misreporting and stated correctly what's really going on. Did these idiot reporters actually do any fact checking or just pick up someone's FB or Twitter feed about this?

I could write a freaking book this morning.
1. I have been waiting for a referral to see my gyno regarding my period. I clearly need a little help, my cycles are anywhere from 53 days to 75 days and counting. I have seen my family doctor, had some blood work taken and an ultrasound, everything came back normal but he refuses to send me to see my gyno for another 5months. I don't see the point in waiting at all, I have already been dealing with this for 9 months.

2. I have a jerk (that's putting it politely) for a brother. He is selfish. Currently he is working out west, while my SIL is here with their 5yr old and 2yr old. He constantly calls me and TELLS me I need to go over and help her with various things, mostly babysitting. She never calls to ask for help.

He just called me yesterday and exploded that I needed to go up to their house and help my SIL out because she has the flu and demanded to know why I couldn't just drop what I was doing and go up there and help. He was screaming at me so bad, I just calmly said he didnt need to speak to me like that and I hung up. After I hung up on him, he called mom (they do not have a good relationship) and started to scream at my mom about me, and how I never help them. My mom told him to stuff if and went up to see how SIL was doing and take the boys for a bit. She then told SIL what my brother did and SIL says, I should just forget about it and get over it. I am sooo pissed off and so is DH. Out of my entire family, we are the only ones that do stuff for them. DH takes the 5yr old to hockey all the time, we helped her out when she had a major flood this summer and just babysit all the time, so I was extremely hurt when my brother says I never help.

I am terrible at confrontation but this is the last straw for me, I am done with his bs. He texted me later on to say he was sorry he was upset and lost his cool. I am not buying it, and probably wont answer his text back. Ugh, who talks to their baby sister like that??

If you try to interrupt my class again asking me to "have a word" with you because you "thought I looked annoyed" when you dropped your class off, I am going to have to talk to the boss. If you try to start an argument with me again in front of students, same thing. As much as I would like to keep this 8th grade bullshit out of the boss's office, your passive-aggressive attempts to bully me aren't going to be tolerated. You do your job, I'll do mine, and we can all attempt to act like grown up professionals, k? That'd be great.

It sucks waiting to test for a BFP when you REALLY want a drink. Hubby has no sympathy and drinks in front of me. We have one of our biggest football games of the year this weekend, so I hope I know by then.

I NEED to go to the grocery store this afternoon, but I have a MEETING after work that I must attend. It's Monday people, really?! I want to go home.

DH is out of town on business until Wednesday, so I have my DS on my own for a few days. Normally not a problem, but we have our house up for sale and could have a showing soon--this means I have to clean, too. Doing that with a 1 year old is pointless, but I love him.

Speaking of DS, his Halloween costume STILL hasn't come in the mail.

Did I mention I want a drink?

GL to you, too. We went up for sale back in March, had a contract by April, and then the buyer backed out. [-X We finally came off the market in July, but decided to go back up last month. I'm exhausted.

Come on H, I seriously do not understand how you can invite your office (it's only 4 people...but still) over to our house for a day long meeting and then DO NOTHING TO HELP before they get here. Sure I can do all the cooking and cleaning in preparation for their visit, but I do draw the line when you ask me to move the carseat to another car BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW...our child is 2.5 years old. Shit like this drives me crazy.

It is disgusting, and she's disgusting. I had forgotten about that (until I started ranting about her) because the two of them do so many inappropriate things, it hardly shocks us any more. There are multiple emotionally disturbed kids in their class, and the two teachers are more fucked up than most of the kids. From what I understand, the high-five was like a, "Yeah girl, you totally figured out what is wrong with that child. High five." This student apparently walks home by herself and sometimes sits alone on her steps waiting until dark for someone to come home and let her in. She's 9. (Authorities are involved, but they often take forever to do something).

ETA: If and when I see or hear something myself, I will be in the principal's office so fast you will see a dust cloud behind me.

I am pretty pissed off at my BF today. I have an interview today for a grad school program I want to get into that only has about a 35% acceptance rate so I am extremely nervous. Well, I shared my nerves with my friend and she huffed, rolled her eyes and told me I was being dramatic. Seriously? This is a career changing program that I have been wanting to apply to for 3 years. I am dying to get into it and I assumed she would be encouraging. WTH tells someone they are being dramatic when they say they are nervous and haven't slept well the last two nights out of anticipation. Now I am nervous and annoyed. Grr.

@jaytee16 It is ridiculous I'm so sad! He said maybe we can get a pre-owned car..but at this point I'm about to say screw them and go look somewhere else! I've had the car for over a week!! This is not good business.

@ScrappyLika - That's crazy! I don't understand how they can let you drive the car away and then tell you to give it back because they overlooked something the first time around (or at least that's what I'm assuming happened here). I would be hesitant to give them my business going forward. I'm sorry for all this nonsense, kind of killing the excitement of having new wheels!
