I never realized how easy it would be for some creep to go to a GTG. Since all the info is put out there. I mean it makes sense, but I never really thought about it.
As you read on this chick seems pretty harmless, and just chose an incredibly creepy way to intro. But still. just crazy.

I actually was thinking about PMing some of you Cali girls when I saw the meet up deets being all public. There are really some major creepsters out there. Any one on here could be a creeper. That's why you always meet in public, at least at 1st. Always be very aware of your surroundings at all times no matter where you are. I agree, all future gtg should be PMed, but that still doesn't mean you are totally safe. I had a stalker in college, until my dog attacked him. It took the police 30 minutes to get there. And he didn't find me on the web, just a random weirdo.

Eh. We all go to public events all the time and there is always this chance. Yeah, it prob makes sense to keep details private but I wouldn't let this freak you out. I mean PMing helps slightly but doesn't eliminate all risk. For all we know @valstulas or @mermomo5 could actually be 53 year old balding men with giant weapons collections. And they'd be in on those PMs.

See....DH is okay with a love affair with an older woman. I don't know how he would feel about a 53 year old bald man. @mermomo5 you better be a woman!

The way I read it was that she kind of ended up there by coincidence. I think they must had been tailgating or something (or a football party) and her H new someone there. Then she only knew it was a bump GTG because someone mentioned it. I may be wrong though haha
