Final Update - Doesn't look good :( Scared to death

I'm away from home and just got home from a great concert. Right before the concert I wiped and saw a little bit of pink on the paper.

Throughout the show I just tried to relax and enjoy it.

I just got home and there is definitely red blood now.

I am totally alone in my hotel. My bff is out sleeping in her room now for the night. I don't have a lot of pads. I have a few Tylenol.

I have some very mild cramping right now that might just be gas.

We have to drive six hours back tomorrow to get back to her house. Then I will have to drive another three hours alone (probably Mon morning) to get back home.

I'm scared to death right now.

Update 1 : And I'm calling it 1 because I don't know if speaking to soon so I'll update again later today.

But thankfully the bleeding didn't get any worse and appears to have tapered off or in the process of tapering off. I did take a couple Tylenol before I went to sleep for all of about four hours. I still feel like I have some minor cramping.

Bleeding wasn't enough to soak through a whole thick pad but maybe a thin one. it was definitely enough that it looked like more than spotting to me. It wasn't just a tiny little bit.

So for now I'm just absolutely exhausted and still scared to death and really worried about just getting home now from so far away.

Thank you SO much for your support ladies. I can't thank you enough. I am definitely not feeling out of the woods and if there are any other happy stories out there please let me know! I sure need them today! Thank you again for all your thoughts and prayers.

Update 2 - of course just after I wrote that the bleeding started again. Same as last night. Not super heavy but more than just spotting. Mild cramps. Hitting the road to Chambersburg to drop off my friend.

Thank you all so much again. Your words mean so much to me right now.

Final update - Finally home after driving from Worcester MA this morning about 10 hrs total driving time to get home.

Bled the whole way home. Continue to and continue to have mild cramping.

Just took a HPT and it came back negative. So that's it. This will be my sixth loss. I'll go by the doctor's tomorrow morning and I am guessing they'll just do a blood draw to confirm.

I can't even think straight right now so I'm going to end this.

so sorry for your scare. Please know that spotting could be normal. I have been spotting for eight days now and everything looks fine.

I wish it was just light spotting. It's not. It's red. Not tons yet but it's more than spotting. I need a pad. I had to go out to the convenience store - thankfully just around the corner.

I don't mean to be melodramatic. I know that people spot frequently. But I'm having mild cramping which I'm scared isn't just gas.

I know this feeling. This is my 6th time trying for those on mobile and I am supposed to be 5 weeks 5 days.

FWIW I had spotting, an episode of bleeding, and a LOT of pretty bad cramping in first tri, now I'm almost 34 weeks and my healthy little boy is kicking the crap out of me as I type

there can be so many reasons for bleeding that don't equal miscarriage *HUGS* T&Ps for you that everything is ok.

Like others said, there can be many reasons for spotting and bleeding during pregnancy that are not indicative of miscarriage. I don't mean to diminish your concerns but just to give you some hope.

I spotted, heavily & pinkish red, a couple times during my first few weeks and also spotted brown almost every day between weeks 5-8, and everything turned out fine. They never could say why. I think it was just weird hormonal stuff from my IVF and taking supplements. It's completely stopped now for several weeks. Hang in there and don't give up hope, yet.

I am so sorry you have to go through this Anita

I had lots of bleeding episodes with this pregnancy and it turns out it was from the progesterone I was using. My RE had me switch progesterone and although it helped, the bleeding did not stop from 6-10 weeks until I stopped the progesterone altogether.

I hope the episodes are nothing to worry about- make sure you drink plenty of water and try and put your feet up when you get home.

Sending lots of hugs your way. Have you had your progesterone tested again? It seemed like a good number the first time but might be worth finding out if a supplement is needed. Lots of reasons for bleeding, although all scary! FX all will be okay.

I'm so sorry Anita! (((Hugs))) I hope everything is okay. I had bleeding at the beginning of my pregnancy from a SCH. Bleeding is never good for PgAl brain, but it doesn't always mean the worst.

So sorry that you're going through that, and even worse that it happened on a weekend and when you were far from home! I really hope that it will turn out to be OK and you can join the others who posted happy stories of spotting and even bleeding turning out OK, and that you can get checked out early tomorrow if not sooner so that you won't just be scared and wondering anymore and also so that if its something fixable like needing progesterone that starts ASAP! Fingers and everything crossed for you!
