Rhythmic Twitching!

So babygirl woke me up this morning around 4:30. My abdomen was twitching to a very steady beat, which I found to be somewhat odd....and then I realized she must be having the hiccups! I laughed myself silly over it. How cute is that! How often to babies get hiccups in utero? Coolest feeling ever!

  • So cute. I'm too early too feel hiccups yet, but with my first baby it was so neat to feel them in utero and then see her hiccups after she was born.

  • I don't remember them with my first, but my second had them all the time!  I remember the day before I went into labor he had them almost all day, I was at my SIL graduation party so lots of family knew about it.  It was crazy!

  • I wonder if maybe this is what I've been feeling??? I'm 16 weeks today. For about a week & 1/2 now I've felt fluttery movements. Two days ago I felt an actual kick.. much different than the fluttering. For the last two days I've felt rhythmic movements in my lower abdomen (on and off ofcourse, lasting anywhere from 5 seconds to even a full minute or so & mostly occuring while laying down or sitting back in the recliner). I thought I was feeling my heartbeat but it doesnt match with my heartbeat, too slow to be baby's heartbeat and no way I'd feel baby's heartbeat anyway.. so can someone tell me... when u feel these "hiccups" has it ever struck you as feeling like it might be ur heartbeat or is it different? I guess the fact that I've felt it in different areas in my belly suggests its not like an artery and high bloodpressure im feeling. Just not sure..
