I'm secretly glad amazon changed its free super saver shipping policy from $25-$35 because it gives me an excuse to order more books!!! And I always order after my husband pays the credit card bill so he won't see the charge for at least a month.
I'm glad I have my own Amazon card, because H would freak if he saw how much I spend on books (I get ebooks though, which is even worse because you get them instantly, so it makes the urge to click 'buy it now' even worse). Then again, I'm glad H has is own Amazon card too because I know I would freak if I saw how much he spends on there, I swear to God we get packages every day. LOL. We have Amazon Prime though, so free 2 day shipping!!
I haven't washed my hair since Monday. I normally wash it at least every other day. I am grateful for dry shampoo today. Had a meeting with my son's speech therapist and I just could bother with washing my long ass hair.

I wash my hair once a week. Twice if I'm lucky.
I try to only wash my hair twice a week. Otherwise its so dry and gross.

I'm officially jealous of all of you. My hair is always so greasy and nasty by the end of the day. If I didn't wash it daily, or multiple times a day if I ever dare to touch it, I look like I've been swimming in a tub of oil.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
We had our monthly huge breakfast at work today, and yesterday I had to approve the invoice and sign the check for donuts....I went home last night and literally dreamt of donuts, woke up and that was the only thing on my mind, and I seriously could not do any work until I ate the stupid donut.

I take out cash whenever I use the debit card and use the cash to buy an amazon GC. He never notices my book collection just keeps growing.
My hair is down to the middle of my back and I too only wash it once, maybe twice a week.
@ peggels24 - I would LOVE a pack of smokes and a bottle of champagne right about now. Sparkling grape juice will have to do. *sigh*

I have to wash my hair everyday and I hate it. By the end of the day its so greasy it looks wet. I've tried everything, even use expensive shampoo and no conditioner, but unfortunately I have my dad's super oily scalp!
After 3 failed Clomid+TI cycles, DD was conceived with IUI#1
We have a buy back day next Friday at school, so no students and it's not mandatory, but if you come to work, you get paid for the day. I am on the professional development team and should definitely be coming to school to set a good example and all that, but I will be staying home and sleeping instead.

I was in the bathroom straightening my hair. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a couple pillows hit the ground in the bedroom. I proceeded to put my straightener down and look into the room to see BF making the bed.
I almost started crying. "Why are you making the bed? You know I don't like getting into a made bed!"
He laughed at me. "Baby, you know I like the bed made when we have people coming over."
"I hate getting into a made bed. It's like sleeping in a gross hotel bed! Please don't make the bed!" I cried. I pouted then went back to straightening my hair.
When I walked into the bedroom, the be was not made but BF was laughing while telling his parents the story of me crying over a made bed. Awesome.

You can re-train your hair! I used to wash mine every day and my hairdresser told me to stop. She said that it takes a little while but if you stop washing your hair every day your scalp will adjust. I thought she was BSC but I did it and it worked! It saves me soooooo much time in the mornings. Dry shampoo helps too though.

I'm currently snuggled in bed watching a Charmed marathon on lifetime and loving every cheesy moment of it.
LOVE Charmed!!! Love it!!!! I love phoebe with a pixie cut. Piper is on my list of girl names, but my husband doesn't want to use it bc he's afraid people will know its BC of that show. He watches it too. Hahaha.
I just ate the most delicious turkey sub from Jersey Mike's. It was honestly one of the tastiest things I have eaten in the past two weeks. If sub eating is wrong, I don't want to be right!

I've been terribly lazy this week. Yesterday, I just needed something for DS to do so I could crash on the couch for 10 min or so. It had snowed overnight, so I took a small bowl and filled it with snow. I let him play with the snow in the kitchen (tile floor) while I went to lay down. 5 min later, he came over to me with snow flakes all around his mouth signing "more." He didn't play with the snow...he ate it. Even knowing that, I got him more snow so I could keep resting...
I should be sewing a Halloween costume right now but I really don't want to. I hate feeling guilted into doing something just because I can sew.
I get stuck with hemming/fixing all my friends clothes (all of them are guys, so I guess I should just be proud they're not throwing them away or ignoring the problems) just because I can. I turned one of them away once because I was crazy busy, but he just walked around with a massive hole in the crotch of his jeans for months. I couldn't take it.
I'm sorry you got stuck doing it.

I get so annoyed when women use pregnancy as an excuse to get out of everything, especially in the work place. I think that's part of the reason we are not taken as seriously as men are. And I hate when women act like pregnancy is this debilitating illness. I had to go to the ER with DD because I was so dehydrated, so I know morning sickness blows. But you're not dying. There are circumstances like bed rest where I know it is debilitating, but the discomfort comes with the territory. It's nice to get the special treatment but I think it's lame to abuse it.
Everything, and I mean most everything these days, pisses me off. I am usually very easy-going and patient, but not any more. I have to really work not to snap at DD for doing the silliest things. Stupid hormones!
Feb siggy challenge- SO is a twatwaffle, so here is me & DD instead
When cleaning off our catchall spot in the kitchen, I found 5 bucks in an old Valentine's Day card to DD from DH's grandparents. I considered putting it in DD's bank account, but then realized that would be annoying to do for just $5. So I put it in my wallet. MOTY
In my defense, I just bought her a Minnie Mouse shirt that she didn't need but I know she'll love.

I actually made it to the gym today when DD was in preschool (she does half days on Fridays), but totally lazed out once we got home - read my book (Allegiant!) and took a nap. Nothing has gotten cleaned up, and it really needs it.
Oh, and I heart so many of the women here, especially the snarkier ones. I find them to be so supportive, entertaining, and smart, it makes me happy to be on this BMB.
I don't wash my hair about once a week also. I have very thick long naturally curly hair that's a bitch to wash and dry. It's better now that I have a keratin but every time I wash it that's less time the keratin last.
I also go to the gym 4/5 times a week and get sweaty and I still won't wash it. I just let it dry pull it up and go.
DH is having friends over tonight (which I'm fine with) but last night he told me they might want to hang out upstairs where I will be. I got extra pissy and said "no way, I'm pregnant, I'm gassy, I don't plan on wearing a bra once I get home - you're boy friends need to stay downstairs." I then giggled that I called them boy friends and he stared at me like I was crazy. I don't give a flyin!
Not really FFFC but oh well, I wanted to post something

I love Piper! I think it's a gorgeous name. Charmed was the one and only show that I absolutely HAD to watch. It was my crack. Now it's True Blood. So sad when Charmed ended!!!!

I left work way early twice this week and "worked from home." No one noticed. It was a light week for me. Right now, I'm feeling like I can't pay attention at work unless I have real stuff to do.
We went to dinner with friends last night and I was so nervous she would ask if I was pregnant that I ate an entire bowl of chips so that I wouldn't be caught having to answer without chewing first and thinking about my answer. She never asked and I felt miserable after dinner!
I'm not lady-like when I fart anymore. I just farted next to my brother and he looked and me like I was the most disgusting thing ever. So I looked back and said "I'm pregnant, so I can" to which he responded "have you been pregnant your whole life? Because that's how long you've been farting like a man..." Wow.
