ugh. This sucks!

I ran home to take my bp before picking up ds from daycare. Ob started me on bp meds because I have been having symptoms of very high bp (seeing spots), headaches and had some high readings. 158 over 99 has been highest. Just took my bp and it was 179 over 85. I think that 179 number is really, really high. Dh had his first ever patient die (in 10 years of practice) so he is tied up. I need to go pick up ds cause daycare closes soon but now I scared to get off the couch. Or crap...maybe I need to go to the ER.
IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014

    Do you have someone who can pick up your son? Did your doctor tell you to go to the ER if you have a high reading? I would call your doctor and if you can't get a hold of them, go to the hospital. I hope everything is okay!

    No. But the highest it had been before was 158. I called my dh and he said just to lay down for about 20 minutes.

    I still have about half an hour before I need to pick up ds. Shit though. I am starting to get scared I am going to end up on bed rest again! Omg. I don't want that to happen. Especially not this early. Aghhhhhh!

    Oh no I am sorry you are having BP issues. I hope it comes down after some rest, try, as near impossible as that is, to take deep breaths & relax, all the stress won't help take it down.

    I hope everything ended up perfectly. I hate that you're having to deal with high BP. FX it goes back down and stays down ASAP!
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    I just saw this post...I hope you are feeing better and your bp is down. ((Hugs)) to your DH, I'm sure today was hard for him :(

    I hope I settled. And I hope any meds help get it under control and you can avoid prolonged amounts of bed rest!

    Thanks. It went back down. By 9 last night, it was 100/60. I am guessing the meds had not kicked in.
