Baby wants to be held all day

My baby wants to be held all day long.  The first couple of weeks he was not like that but the last couple of weeks he does not want to be put down.  I love holding him and cuddling with him!  I feel like I can't get anything done around the house though.  Is anyone else's LO like this?
I think I need to get some sort of carrier.  Can anyone recommend one?

  • My dd always wants to be held as well. The NuRoo has saved my life. It's actually a shirt that holds baby. Here she is in it. I highly recommend it!

  • This is me today. I finally put DS in the mobi. I have the mobi, k'tan and ergo. I like mobi and k'tan for around the house and ergo for out and about. People always say to enjoy the time the want to be held. I enjoy it but definitely need a break and with a 21 month old, I can't always hold him. Plus a girl has to fold some laundry. ;) btw, DS is 8 weeks.
  • Yup. Starts anywhere from 1-3 months and usually lasts 1-2 months. For me, I notice it starts when LO is awake and alert more, but they are too young to entertain themselves. Basically, they're bored.

  • My LO has been like that since we brought him home. Right now at almost 7 weeks he's just starting to be ok being put down for a little while at a time.

  • I either wear her or sit my butt down and hold her. Now that I'm back to work, she wants to snuggle even more.

  • Moby is really easy to learn to use IMO and I love it for around the house. I really like that there are multiple ways to wear baby with it.

I love the Ergo (but you need an infant insert when they're tiny).  I have the Moby too but never got around to learning how to tie it.
I love the ergo too (have a hand me down Moby but never had the time to figure it out).  I have the infant insert, but I don't use it if she is swaddled.

@Skalbrecht, what holds do you put your LO in? I've only mastered the newborn hug hold and she sometimes likes it sometimes not. Any other hold suggestions to YouTube?

Edit to add: my LO is like this and has been since birth. She's getting better at being put down for short periods here and there but mostly she wants cuddles.
