UPDATED Pregnancy Update - Need prayers!

UPDATE **Had another ultrasound today and there was no change. So it looks like the twins just stopped developing early. Because my body has already gone several weeks without miscarrying, I am opting to schedule a D&E for either Friday or early next week (waiting to hear back from the surgeon's office). I'm sad... and I'm disappointed... but a few weeks ago we never even intended on getting pregnant again this soon, let alone having two babies. So while it sucks really badly that this happened, life will go on. We already have two beautiful little boys (2 1/2 yrs and 5 mos) who I am going to kiss and hug extra hard after I pick them up from day care today.

Hi ladies. A few weeks ago I posted that I had found out that I was pregnant again after just having DS #2 on 5/14/13. Today DH and I went to my first OB appointment and found out that there are two gestational sacs (twins!!) with yolk sacs, but no fetal poles. I thought I was 8 weeks along, but it's possible that my dates are off given that my cycles were varying after this last pregnancy and I am pretty sure I ovulated late. I guess since I just had a baby five months ago, everything may be off track. But, I am so scared that this pregnancy won't be viable! I've been Googling the heck out of fetal pole development, and I am hopeful that if my dates are off, it's just a little too early to see the fetal poles.

I got blood work done today to check my HCG levels and going again on Friday, so we'll see if my levels are rising. And then I go back on Wednesday for another ultrasound. Please pray that my twin babies are developing okay and that my dates were just off!

I didn't feel right posting this on the miscarriage/loss board since I'm not sure yet which way this will go and I haven't joined a board for this new pregnancy yet since I didn't have an official due date so wasn't sure if I'd be a May or June mom, but since I had shared my pregnancy with you ladies a few weeks ago, I wanted to update you and ask for your thoughts and prayers!!

T & P's!

We had this happen with Alexanders pregnancy. I found out I was pregnant at only 12wks pp. Went in for an ultrasound at what we thought was 7 1/2 weeks(15 1/2wks pp) but there was only a yolk sac. Had betas done and another ultrasound a week later and sure enough there was a fetal pole. Really hoping this is the case for you as well!
