Ok, who has/had two under two? Give me your tips! I'm starting to get worried.
Together since 5/08 ~ Married 6/19/10 ~ TTC #1 since 8/10 BFP#1 3/26/11 ~ EDD 12/2/11 ~ Ectopic Twins left tube 7w3d BFP#2 11/2/11 ~ EDD 7/14/12 ~ Robert Edgar born 7/18/12 BFP#3 9/28/13 ~ EDD 5/20/14 ~ Benjamin Clarence born 5/15/14
I did at one time, it seems forever and a day ago though. So while I have no advice, it honestly was easier having two once Austin was a little older than two. He kept Dustin entertained and he used to love to help with the baby. He would go fetch diapers, clothes or pacis or just sit there and make faces at him just to make him laugh. You'll find a groove, it wont be bad I promise
It's not as scary as it seems when you are in the thick of it. But at the same time you'll wonder why you ever thought life with one was difficult.
The logistics of getting out and about and being a Mom to two will come naturally. A carrier is the best invention for 2U2 moms. You'll be tired, your kids will both cry at the same time. Then their relationship grows and things get easier each day - until they get hard again in a different way. Like for me now where they both run in opposite directions and are both willfully disobedient because they feed off of each other.
It's so fun and I love their spacing. It goes by way, way faster with two babies who are still very much babies. My DD is almost the age my DS was when she was born and everyday I'm like, "but she's just a baby still!".
I am only. 5 weeks into 2U2 but it's going fairly well. My first 2 are exactly 2.5 years apart and I feel they are both about the same as far as difficulty.
Out hardest time of the day is bed time mainly because I am alone trying to bathe all 3 and get them in bed. I am still figuring out the best way to handle this since I'm only on day 2 of being alone.
A good carrier will be your best friend and allow you to go out and about relatively stress-free.
If you have any specific questions I would be glad to answer them
I'm only 5 weeks into this so far also. One thing that has helped my first one is I bought her a baby doll and started getting her used to the idea of me holding a baby. We would burp, kiss, and rock the baby. I'll admit that she has a very hard time being gentle since she is only 15 months old. We try to have special time with our older one while DD 2 is napping. Talk about how you can divide and conquer things like dinner, bath time, etc if both are upset with DH before the new one arrives. This has helped us alot because I don't think my DH had any idea how much more I would need him to step it up with their everyday care.

"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always.
As long as I'm living,
my baby you'll be."
