From a May 2013 Mom

Hi May 2014 Moms!

Last year someone did this for the May 2013 Moms so I wanted to do it for you! Here is a picture of my baby girl Kaitlyn-born May 6th 2013

she has already brought so much happiness and joy into our family. My husband and I could not be happier! Being pregnant isn't the easiest thing but remember there is someone so amazing waiting for you! Just imagine what your little one(s) will look like in a year! It's simply incredible! I wish you all a happy healthy pregnancy and a safe uncomplicated delivery!

How is this awkward timing? a lot of the ladies here are feeling like absolute crap with their morning sickness and everything. seems to me seeing something like this might be a sweet reminder that it's all going to be worth it!

Thanks for the happy reminder of what is to come! As a FTM, it's not always easy to picture that reward waiting for us at the end of all this! It's going to be so much fun having a LO to dress up at Halloween next year!

After I've (and other ladies) have gone through losses and don't have our own kids... when we feel like crap nice things like that give us something to smile about. Sorry we're not as great and wonderful as you.

Eta after reading responses: Yikes! I get that we are all hormonal and grouchy, but I think OP was just trying to show us why it's worth it to go through m/s, acne, constipation, etc., if you have a kid already to remind you, that's great, but not everyone had kids yet. Let's quit being snarky, it was a kind gesture.

I love it! Time passes so quickly and while i'm trying to enjoy what i can of first tri, I really hope I get to have my full grown healthy bean with me to plaster all over whatever internet sites I want. She's adorable and I appreciate the sentiment.

I'm literally crying! (Hormones!! Lol) just thinking about the fact you were where we are a year ago. It really puts into perspective how worth it is. I suffer from Ms and it just makes it all seem okay.

I also appreciate this post since I have been feeling like crap today and as much as I have always wanted my own kids, it is still hard to take the negative symptoms and turn them into something positive. However, this post does just that, so thank you OP and your daughter is adorable!

I know we would gladly take all these crappy symptoms x10 if it meant we'd come home with a healthy little baby in May. But when your head is in the toilet for the third time today, it's hard see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for the positive post.
